Delicious cold beer treats from Canopy in Herne Hill? Estelle and Matt are both OG lufugussers...

Tempting but lasses tend to not be massive beer fans.

Dough bakery, branch in Herne Hill and Brixton would be glad to make some lovely cakes for them.
Carina, who runs it, hilariously won The Apprentice a couple of years ago..

Not Brixton, but if you head over to Pooja in Tooting you can pick up a stack of tasty Indian sweets and snacks without bankrupting yourself. Always seem to go down well (in my house anyway)...

Of course, you could get a shed load of Pastel del Nata from one of many places in Portuguese Stockwell

Cake? I know a local bakery, husband and wife team. If you mention me, they should give you a discount. They asked me if I wanted to send cakes to a kings again but the fund has ran out.
Do you have a named contact at kings? It was a task and a half for me to actually get someone to approve and expect the deliveries. Also no alcohol allowed. I’ll DM deets in a mo.

Recently saw on the news a small independent Brixton based street wear company is being pursued by an American based company that has copyrighted the Brixton brand.
Hopefully this doesn't potentially effect Brixton cyxles that also has clothing with Brixton in it. -

There is also a Brixton hat brand in the US that’s been going for 20 years, there must be loads of other businesses with Brixton in the name!?
imaging trying to copyright ‘London’ FFS.edit, seems the hat brand is the party with the copyrighted name.

Reminds me of the time specialized took a small cafe in Canada called roubaix cafe to court.
Thankfully in that case common sense prevailed.
Considering the US company has nothing geographical to do with Brixton its seems like nonsense, but I'm sure they've got deep enough pockets to protect what they see as there intellectual property, despite being thousands of miles away from the place. -

Isn't it named after the Brixton in the US? I was very confused when I arrived in Oz, Brixton hats everywhere, was a bit put out. Fucking poseurs.

Still very dubious if you can copywright the exclusive use of the name for clothing purposes especially with multiple places of the same name geographical referenced in the brand. The fact they preceeded them in manufacturing makes it an uphill task especially as target market is similar.
The liklihood the lawyers will get there claws into it, with case held in Netherlands i hope dutch rational prevails.
Hopefully the judge has had a good night out in hootananny. -

Hi Brixton people.
Long story short- I want to buy some treats for Kings college hospital staff and I’d like it to be from a local business, being E17 based I’m clueless, and pointers? Thinking a shit load of nice food and food based treats.
