The only good thing about Streatham is that Jeremy Hardy lives there and one day I might bump in to him in International Foodway

From the comments (the article was too long, so I skipped to the end).
Iv been to London less times than most and l live in Manchester. l cant really see the point in London. But don't come here. Iv seen Manchester become over run with graphic-design bumming urban exploring twats from some cultureless void. The Yuppies are the least of my worries.
Lol.

When I got there, I met Nikki Bling, who suggested that gentrification could harm the vibrancy of London by destroying working class culture and roots and replacing it with bourgeois banality. “Keep Brixton fucking ghetto!" she asserted. "These people made this place, and when yuppies come in, they’re just going to try and take over. The ghetto is where all the style comes from. They follow our style, our swagger, everything, you get me?”
Busted, I taxed Nikki Bling for swag...

It's my birthday on the 11th. The same day as Tibbs.
We'll be in the usual place in Herne Hill from 8 (earlier for Tibbs cos he's a young blud).
Upstairs is booked too for the Box of Ants soundsystem.
Come down! Dance! Fall down the wooden stairs!
Spend Sunday in a state of regret! -
