what are these like? do they last? they're not cheap but i don't mind spending if they'll last and 'do what they say on the box'.

I got the Kursk ones about a year ago and they're still holding up and I use them daily. When I bought them though I thought they were mis-sold by wiggle where they were described as "weather proof". I still have no idea what weather they are proof against. They're not waterproof, they're not cold proof, and they are sweaty in summer. But they're the best construction I've had for a trainer that you can skid in as the sole is good and stiff.

Saw these on Wiggle too, was'nt sold on them to be honest. I can't see how they'd be weather proof with no real membrane or constructional protection. Gore lined would be better, but very sweaty on warmer days. SPD's are seemingly better all round, but not for me. I use vans, and on bad weather days use Seal Skinz socks..... not bomb proof, but better than blue toe syndrome.......

Hi
I am after, well I am wanting to try, SPD/SPD shoes. I am not a fan of the normal SPD shoes that you see and was wondering an alternative, I have seen the Chrome and DZR shoes but wondered if there are any others and also what they are like to wear.
So if anyone has had some experience with a pair good or bad then please reply.
Thanks

UK10 low top
How do they fit then? Are they a true UK 10 size or bigger?! Say when comparing to Nike...
Wish Nike did the Whistler SPD style shoe still..

don't know/care if anyone is interested but, bought a pair of the bontrager street shoes, (cheap)
thought they looked a bit special needs. took the velcro off, and punched then laced them. look more like old skool road shoes now.
dead comfy, and you could probably get away with wearing them at work.

Anyone tried the DZR Minna yet?
they look a bit more comfortable than chromes, which are really eating at my heals atm
-
• #448
I guess they'll fit the same as other DZR shoes like which Scoot and I think Clefty have. I've not heard any complaints.
My Nike's may finally be breaking, the holes for the laces seem to be wearing through from constant pulling on, they're not reinforced like the DZR ones.
I'm thinking of getting those Minna's eventually. -
