  • difficult to prove the speed though,

Not really, it is pretty straight forward to prove the minimum speed needed to lift a car of that weight off the ground in that kind of crash, and there is evidence that the car left the ground. If the minimum speed is greater than the speed limit the driver of the Lamborghini arguably shares the blame

The only question that will be considered by the Mazda driver's insurance company is what will cost more; repairing the Lambo (likely) or paying a graduate engineer (or similar expert)for a couple of hours of computer time to back them up in court.

  • lambo was defo speeding and in the wrong. when you make a decision to pull out - car or bike - you take a view on any other car's distance, speed and how quickly you can get yourself moving and into the flow of traffic. if someone else is travelling at a speed completely out of keeping with the road limits then it changes all of that. mazda takes a look left...thinks they have enough time to turn - turns out they don't because lambo is nitroing it. rad crash though. any surprise some blonde dolly bird steps out the drivers side?

    Nice stereotyping there. It's LHD.

  • I love a good stereotype. It was still her fault.

They collide wheel to wheel, the car would be lifted off the ground at pretty much any speed. .

I know, right? I've seen so many blonde dolly birds cause crashes. They must be responsible for, like, 90% of crashes? God damn blonde dolly birds. I guess at least now we know what the problem is on our roads.

  • them and the French

  • God damn french blonde dolly bird asylum seekers coming over here, driving our lambourghinis, on OUR roads.

  • apparently the Lambo was only going 30mph but got rear ended by mikec just out of shot

  • Haha legend has it this the guy who MikeC crashed into and he's had a vendetta ever since.

This last part is off to me. You're saying that it's ok for the driver pulling out to make an assumption about the approaching car's speed ( that it's within the limit), when really the driver should have assessed the speed of the approaching car and made a decision based on that.

It's the exact same situation as when you're approaching a junction on a bike and a car pulling out makes the assumption that because you're on a bike you're travelling slowly and continues to pull out right when you're on top of them.

Regardless of whether the lambo was speeding, if the driver of the car pulling out saw it coming, then it's still a dumb move by the driver pulling out.

(not actually attributing blame to either driver though, can't really see enough in the video)

  • political correctness GONE MAD

In the real life, when driving in the urban environment you have to be assertive or you will be stuck. People do pull out, but any normal person have enough time to slow down. There are also many junctions where you can't see the approaching traffic in time if the cars are speeding. Simple as that. That Lambo's driver is a certified idiot.

"Jack Sanderson says he made the decision rather than hitting an oncoming car was riding like a twat."

Cunt's riding like that that gives all other motorcyclists a bad name.

  • Lamborghini couldn't have been that far away when the little thing pulls out... Plus it looks like it is wheel spinning whilst trying to pull out. Mazda's fault all day long

Yes, I realise there is the need to be assertive in some situations to actually get anywhere, but there's still something wrong if whilst you're doing that you don't make a judgement about the speed the vehicle that you're pulling out on is travelling at.

Like I said, it's hard to pass judgment. Often there's no way to see a speeding car in time to stop. That's why there are speed limits.

  • lambo ting;

I think SMIDSY is pretty relevant. If you are driving a low down sports car around speedily, should have sense to put headlights on. I really wouldnt be surprised if the mazda driver didnt even see it.

Logic is flawed whether it's a bike or a sports car. The onus is on the other person to fucking look - and look properly - before making a maneuver.
