I enjoyed the end of the video, didn't realise the camera had detached and was impressed that the motorcyclist who'd come to help could lift an entire man by his head.

Oh and it's definitely the mazda's fault. Reckon there'd be a way of analysing that video frame by frame to work out how much distance the lambo covered in a known time (1/30th of a second?). Whether or not the lambo was exceeding the speed limit (and revving the nuts off the thing in first isn't the same as doing 100mph), the mazda pulled out in front of the lambo, which had priority.

That thing could stop much more quickly than most.

He doesn't start braking for a while, so can't judge speed based on braking distance from when he first comes into shot. Clearly lambo driver is a prick, but presumably he wasn't expecting the bellend in the mazda to pull out in front of him when he had priority. Lambo doesn't brake until he's pretty much hit the beemer parked up further on.

It could have been doing 30 at the time the guy pulled out but 40 by the time the lambo had time to start braking. Besides that street looks like 15-20mph was a safe speed with cars all around.

The other car pulled out slowly, surely the lambo could and should have stopped.

It is hard to say for sure but I am damn sure that

(1) The lambo was going too fast and / or accelerating too fast, even if they were under the speed limit
and
(2) The lambo did not try to stop ASAP, they tried to be clever and fucked right up.
but
(3) Maybe (only maybe) there is some contributory fault from the other car.

edit - most relevant thing - that lambo clearly is using a fair bit of throttle until about 6 ft from impact. Even if the lambo was driving safely (15-20mph) and there would have been a crash whatever he did (I doubt both of these things) had he slammed on the brakes hard and the moment he saw the guy pull out he might have only hit one car instead of three,

I was only trying to address the idea of a driver making an assumption about another vehicles speed rather than attempting to assess it - in this case assuming that a car is going within the speed limit. Can't really tell much about the rest of the incident seeing as you can't see the manner in which the lambo approaches, just what happens when it hits the other vehicle.

Logic is flawed whether it's a bike or a sports car. The onus is on the other person to fucking look - and look properly - before making a maneuver.

When people say they didnt see a bike it is often true, bikes are hard to see. But bikes travel much slower than a lambo so there less of an excuse with a smidsying a bike.

Just like how motorcycles all put their headlights on to increase visibility, if you drive a dark car, which is low to the ground very fast around town. You should just have common sense to stick headlights on, that is all I am saying.

Don't get me wrong - the lambo driver is obviously a cunt (the big hint is that he's driving a lambo) but at the end of the day if you pull out into another vehicle's path then that's your fucking fault and there's nothing to be said about putting on headlights or wearing hi-viz that makes the smallest bit of difference to that.

Guys. Lamborghini was likely going too fast. Mazda was likely not looking. That's it. Stop.
