    As with Johan, already built.

  • I'm still in. Got hubs and rims just need to sort out spokes and rim tape. Evening would suit me better.

  • Does anyone know how I can get hold of Matt? I need to see if he's up for being interviewed for an article I'm writing, but my deadline is tomorrow night!

  • Unfortunately I can't make it this Sunday. However it would be great to get my wheels built before uni so I can start comuting on my conversion. Hopefully I can make the next one.

  • ^ Its on Saturday?!

  • Hey ya
    All set for tomorrow?

    1pm sound ok?
Bring all the bits you have, i have a few sizes of spokes, depending on your combinations of rims and hubs.

Interview eh? Give me a buzz

  • See you at 1 then with my bits and some beers. Any preferred tipple?

  • Thanks for a great class and the loan of the tools, Matt. I've just finished building up the rear wheel and just need to true it.

  • good to meet you Zach and thanks to Matt for the help and time.

this wheel build really helped me understand how to properly true a wheel...happy days.

  • is this is still going?

  • would love to learn, anyone else interested

  • Glad this was resurrected. I'm in!

  • Yeh sounds good, i'll definately be up for it.

  • well after reading this thread seems we need to get in contact with sbb, and c if he is up for doing it again, in nursery mode so cant pm

  • If Matt's busy I'm happy to teach wheelbuilding to you guys: http://www.londonfgss.com/thread13855-2.html

  • nice one mate, need to arrange time and date, max no of people, same rules apply , im in the sooner the better,
    1, Rodeo

  • I think by myself I couldn't teach more than 5 people. I would need another person or more dates if it was more than that. I'd do it for this truing stand (I haven't got one at the moment). If it is 5 people that would be less than a tenner per person. I live in E3 and would be happy to do it in my living room/garden and I'm free the next 3 weeks as I'm revising for exams.

If you want to work out spoke length you could use the spoke length calculator I programmed: http://lenni.me/edd/

  • I would also be interested in holding one down south (Brighton) if enough people are interested, im DT Swiss certified; and have a Park TS2 Stand to teach with!

  • i have contacted Matt so he may have something to say here in a bit

  • If matt is up for doing another one, then I am in. BTW, I would love to hold a few "ladies night" repair workshops, let me know if you know someone who would be interested.

  • Count me in please. I too am in nursery mode, so can't PM.

  • Ok, lets resurrect this thread. Rodeo said a while ago that he wanted a class and so does Stablebarns.

If you find 2-3 more people I'll do a class. If you bring £10 each I buy a truing stand and we can do it at my house in E3. How's that sound?
