So. Is the wheel out of true or is the fork fucked? :-(
if it remains in that position when spinning, probably fork.
if it wobbles, then it's the wheel.
unless it's dished, which it shouldn't be.

Been waiting for JB to post me some tyres for a few weeks
He said he'd give me them too, good luck
Are these the Ruffy Tuffy tyres?
He's sold them to me as well.
I think he's run off to America again with our monies.

if it remains in that position when spinning, probably fork, or the axle, or the axle isn't correctly mounted in the fork.

Or the fork isn't drilled straight.
Just get a longer drop brake should be doable.

I got a Starfish crank and I wonder if someone knew how to shim the chainring bolts so they don't unscrew!

Does anyone have an opinion on the boardman comp sc bike? I know its a budget fixed gear, thinking about getting one for commuting. It'll never see a track so not bothered whether it meets velodrome rules.

Have you a link to a suitable bolt?
Velo Orange is generally the source over here, don't know about over there.
Like I said though, it's really easy to bodge your own using a stainless eye bolt and a large washer. -

@TM, that would have to be the forks dropouts that are not drilled straight as you can see in the pic, the space to the right of the rim is much bigger than the space to the left of the rim. Which is something I'd like to fix...
Sorry missed that, so have you unscrewed your nuts and seen if the wheel sits straight? Sometimes the nuts tug to one side.

Not sure quite what I was thinking but it is growing on me.

Tried to, my tools (cycle repair kit poc) failed. Gonna get myself some proper wrenches first... 'tis the first bike I have with track nuts.

Starting to put together my fyxation eastside build today. the fork requires a 50mm reach brake. could i get away running a brake that goes to 49mm? Not to keen on buying a brand new brake setup if i can get away with some used parts on it.

S2 is rad, but are they 4 seasons? >>>>

they were put there specially for the Rapha gent's race in Bavaria, crazy mtb trails were raced on the 4 seasons and no puncture from our team.

No, unless you like your pads dangerously close to the tyres.
-
• #93849
Just file off a mm of the pads.

So I encountered this problem:
Couldn't get my front brake caliper aligned properly, one of the pads always rubbed against the tyre. Had another look at it and discovered this.
So. Is the wheel out of true or is the fork fucked? :-(
