^^ Were you on New Cross Road (Sarrfff East London) this afternoon?
- Think I might have spotted this frame.

I wish H+Sons would finish their Archetypes satin and without the decals like those ^ Mavics.

The saddle looks like a wise eagle's beak.
Very nice build though, I think it would look great with a Concor.

You did Uoeno. I stopped to check something by Askes and looked across the road to see someone holding your Fort in the air, shared a nod with him actually.
Yeah the saddles's fuck ugly but it's real comfy, I'm undecided on a saddle yet.

The Turbomatic is still around if you still want it - was that for this?

^^ Knew it! Awesome frame man. Yeah I was just walking home from selling it to Patrick. Was gonna say something but I went shy. :(

Yeah I'll take it Tom. It was, temporarily, but then of course I found this 'wise eagles beak' Gipiemme saddle.
Don't be shy bro, I'm local!

Just had email from the office to tell me my Koga Miyata has arrived. Had been thinking about riding again tomorrow but think I might go in to the office for a bit instead. Loving this wind down to retirement period - reckon I've got about 30 days at work to go.

decided to dig a smaller tyre out for the back and crack on, wheel trued, brakes installed, bars taped, cheeky test ride. Damn this thing is great to ride, think I'm going to enjoy it alot...
Fit wise it seems that a 58 top tube with layback and 100mm stem give me a perfect fit... I've ridden inline posts for quite some time and was pointed out to me recently that I could move back a bit, started out moving saddle back but now am realising that I have long legs and should have been riding setbacks the whole time.
Not my usual way to build things but aside from the frame every part is something cheap... Only things I need now are matching 28c tyres and top tube cable clips as I ordered the wrong size...

Got any nice carbon inlines to sell then TM? ;)
That frame looks like it could be a real nice single speed beater, that's what i'd do with it anyway, big tyres, drops and levers like you've got too, hows the back coming along btw?
-
• #93866
Ha yeah, exactly what I've done with it. Will fix it at some point down the line.
No any nice carbon inlines going sozza.
I thought the back was better than it was, over did it a bit over the past couple of weeks and now suffering some pain, saw a back specialist this morning (first doc aside from my gp I've managed to get an appointment with since) and he said healing is going well, but I need some physio to sort out some muscle imbalances that have become apparent since the injury.

Beautiful PX. What cog sizes are you running?
-
• #93868
^^ah! on the lookout for one for the roadie
And yeah, muscle imbalance is something that takes a lot of time to even out too, mucho cycling to build the muscle back up :)
-
• #93869
Am not sure cycling does alot for the back ha.
Only nice carbon inline I haz is on condor and that's staying.

Looks like a great run around.
But does a set-back post count if it's with a Flite?!

Can I use a SRAM Red Exogram crankset with an Ultegra front mech, or is it really "YAW only" (have to use Red or Force front mech I guess)?
Super awesome!
