It's a rebranded Monoc track frame with different forks.
I have a road frame for sale branded as a GB with the same tubes, and have seen a couple of the track frames about. Wharry had one, and one of the Leeds guys has one.
Forks were branded as Monoc somewhere actually. Must be their non-drilled track fork. This is the bike you have to blame I converted to brakeless.

Ah, perhaps. Am surprised you didn't like it, the track one in Leeds is light and stiff. Was it too harsh for your liking?
-
• #89854
Yes, to stiff for London roads. Must be great on a track.
Eventually, I got a different stiff frame that takes bigger tires, so you don't feel the harshness. -

It's like christmas!also does anyone else think the back wheel looks wrong, like its pointing the wrong way?
(wrong not bad)
the cog should surely be on the other side!
i'll have to put one on the other side, that will bug me too much! -

well whatever, I was and/or am considering polishing it to silver
can't afford a carbon one so...
lets call it an "interim" (great pun) -

Doktor Pepe, it could well be your old frame, it has same spacers, salsa clamp and thomson, which came with mine when I bought it. I can't remember who I bought it off..
-
• #89866
It must be same frameset as Thomson and Salsa seat post clamp were included in a sale.
I can't remember who bought it, it was 3 years ago now. I was going through a lot of frames at that time while I found what I like. -
• #89867
Ha! that's great! I've had it for nearly 2 years now, not particularly in love with it, but it always seems to work. It is REALLY stiff though.... tubing seems quite thick for ally, it hasn't dented from abuse.

Thanks dammit , I'll have a look into that , it seems like a neat solution

• #89874
I've not used them on bike parts - but have repaired threads in an engine block with them before.
