Source? Was just gonna order the C17 but might just have to wait for this.
Sometime this month, I heard of it through their mailing list.

You could use a Brompton brake
Or a v-brake noodle.
Will upload pic soon but it work brilliantly with the noodle attach to the brake.

Vintage steel/modern component upgrade complete. Compact Nitto to replace classic Cinelli bar set-up. Feels so much better just sitting on the bike, but hoping to get a test ride in tomorrow, when I'll take better pics.

when I used to commute down the Edgware Road, there was a chap who had hooked up a 2 stroke engine to a BSO and used to do about 30 down the bike lane each morning, with what looked like a length of copper piping as an exhaust and the rear sprocket bolted to the spokes of a regular wheel.
also the chap above builds a bike with an engine, then uses public transport to get about?!

New road bike almost there. Seat needs lowering and levelling but other than that I'm happy with it.

After a few years I think I've finished the Mike Kowal, and after sumo told me it was a fucking disgrace the other day i thought i'd post it here. Rundown of the parts;
Mike Kowal 853 hand built frame
Mavic A719 built by me to Deore XT FH Tiagra RH
600 tricolour 8sp RH shifter Dura ace triple LH shifter
Deore hollowtech chainset
galli seatpost
brooks b17 champion special
ugly as fuck stem
all condition 28 tyres
deore rear mech
tiagra front mech
deore xt pedals
shimano long drop calipers
stronglight a9 headsetit all works together surprisingly well, but despite my colour coordination efforts looks pretty dumb. I dont even like red
rides like a dream though and pretty sure i could set off for aberdeen tomorrow with no problems

I see. That's quite subjective. I think I prefer it as it is.
Also none of this matters, we're in CP so the reasonable thing to do is be nice about other forumengers awesome bikes.

Just standard elite ones I think - I have them too. Look fine in the flesh and they really hold bottles. I HATE rattly cages.

They're actually not, no. King ti cages are about 2/3rds the weight. They do, however, hold the bidon very securely.

Yeah, Elite Custom - the 2013 stealth/all-black ones actually look quite good on carbon bikes, I've just never liked the look of them on steel frames. They sure do work though.
