Nice piece of metal between the base and aero bars you got there.

Looks like brake lever clamps.
There's good precedent for bodging aerobars onto bulls...
Though I'm guessing you're probably more of a Fignon fan Gaston

I do not often take a position but more often for lower.
If I had to chose one I do prefer it will be Monsieur Jacques Anquetil...

Did anyone ever see the Santé build that Ridgeback did back in 1988, it was called a Rapide Santé. I think the frame was a fillet brazed Tange job and they built up all the fillets to make it look all fluid, painted in a pearlescent white....
I'd love to see a pic again, I was about 10 when they dropped it and back then I thought it was the nuts...as good as a rossin or a kestrel - never seen one in the flesh and not seen a photo since 1988.
in fact I may just have made it up! -

Are you saying that there was a porn-worthy Ridgeback? cause I ain't buying that one bit...
-
• #88265
It wasn't actually called a "ridgeback" as such.....
The freewheel (Madison) catalogue in the 80's sold road bikes under the name "Rapide" and touring bikes under the name "Romany" as well as the Ridgeback mtb range. Apparently the road bikes were made by Revell of London (possibly sourced from Dave Yates and Mercian)
Later on, the Rapide and Romany brands became model names in the Ridgeback range and it all went downhill from there.... -

Ratty KHS, well fun to ride.
It's getting a new seatpost soon and maybe a specialized romin saddle.
-
• #88267
How about levelling the current saddle? and taking a less headache inducing photo....

^^^That's the most comfortable position for me for some reason. It's more level than it looks in that photo. I find it alright to ride but that romin you sold me fits my buns so well! Also, headache inducing photos are the way forwards I reckon.

Where could I find one or should I ask machinist who will make me axle what I could do with it? Look isn't the problem, lack of threads is:
