btw Guy of Gizmond is that bike of yours for tricks or just riding to the pub? ;)
Tricks on the way to the pub, having trouble bending the fork to do bar spins, so I might have to 650 front it for the clearance.
Frame is off to amourtex tomorrow, going with sparkly orange I think.

It's going to get an overhaul soon paintwise.
Dave Marsh has loads of original Carlton decals.

For your safety - You need to add a couple of chain links...Unless I'm missing something.
+1 that be an accident waiting to happen.

Me too... maybe in the summer... it'd look sick with a stained lacquer on the fork... red maybe?

FINALLY I've found a bar and stem combination that actually felt comfortable without having any unusual pain on my wrist/thumb area, for weeks I've been plagued with those weird pain on those area, I put riser, risen the stem, lowering it, different length, flat bar, getting more paranoid thinking that my bike doesn't fit me properly which freak me out, and then finally;
100mm Titan track stem with (abet ugly) Cinelli Saba drop, perfection, it's now spot on, even on the drop which is quite deep with the stem, it's perfectly... fine.
Happy as harry now, however happy he is.

I have almost identical bars too, Sakae World Champion, got mine for a tenner from the guy I bought my disc wheel from! Which reminds me, need to sort that out for the summer ;)
My hands are raw from getting those bars polished though, I had painted them black and then changed my mind, they look beautiful polished though and now the logos on mine have natty black lining thanks to my black paintjob fail ;)

Hey everyone!
Thought i'd stick a pic on here of my current half bike!
I had a charge plug which i just sold on that there ebay. It was nice, just a bit heavy and the mrs and i have a really, really small flat so somthing had to go.
Annyway, it's a cougar! Bought off ebay, it's Reynolds 753 and apparently it was "handbuilt by terry dolan". Now, i'm pretty sure that's bull shit, but still i like it. Yes those are road wheels and are having a Fixxer on the back so.. it'll be fixed. Truative Omnium crank and BB, Nitto Stem, Shite Shimano headset that came with it.
No bars or seat atm, thinking of going for san marco concor but no idea what bars.
If your in nottingham and see an ugly bloke pushing his bike along whilst holding the stem say hi.
That's a 700 x 20 tyre. Don't think i could get anything else in there as it was, i reckons, made for tubs. Also, it's designed for a 650 front, but i had one on and i didnt like it :-)
Right, i'm going to post in the welcome section,
Oli.
Thanks Skully, no chrome i'm afraid. It's going to get an overhaul soon paintwise.
Unfortunatly i'm up in Leeds this weekend (I recommend Sunday night gig at Brudenell social Club for those up north), can't tell you how much I enjoyed a day in the country on the Carlton. Beats innercity riding!
I popped into madgets, they're suprisingly track orientated, some nice merican/bob jackson track frames.
Enjoy your JRJ, looks lovely.
