However, it seems that the seatpost that came with it has a smaller dia than the frame. Hopefully the previous owner didn't overtighten it. 26.2 is the seatpost dia but I reckon that the frame is actually 26.8 as it's in Aelle.

Frame is fucking lush though.

Will shift that seatpost if it's not up to snuff. 26.2 is quite unusual in itself. Gaston might be interested. It' stronglight. ;)

Made of Tretubi Aelle so the main triangle is Aelle, the rest is probably Columbus SP.

don't get cx forks!
there should be plenty of steel audaxy road forks with rack and guard mounts around that are not that much longer than than the ones you've got.
longer blades and more rake will affect the handling, and so will a rack with a load. but none will render the bike unrideable.

There are/were some Roberts forks on ebay that would be suitable.

Condor looks great TM. Black series ARX might be a teeny bit better though, at the moment the red stripe clashes with the pink on the frame a bit for me.

Dunno, I quite like the red stripe...if a LTD or black stem fell into my lap though I would fit it.... Don't want the white stripe of the pro.

Get some pink vinyl the same as colour and overlay that on the red.
