First one, with the Toupe & Record crabon post, is nicer to my eyes. Even though it's probably a bit less period correct.

Quick question, looking for a new crankset, just for my fixed daily commuter. I am thinking second hand ultegra 6600 with one of those USE chainrings, should be able to do it for under £100. Has anyone done a similar setup?

Do it, 105 or Ultegra hollowtech is infinitely better. On-One do an external bearing track chainset as well, but 6600 will be nicer.
