I take the sliding cradle off and turn it round so it's braced against the far side of the tool you can use it to loosen a stiff link.
same boat, kept on breaking chain breakers, decided to invest in something that will hopefully have a longer life... interesting to know about swapping the plate around, but i just wiggled it from side to side, job done.

Slight cheat as easier to spin up/ down on 3 spd. :o)

What cadance do you roll?

what do the other two speeds work out at?
-
• #82859
Low 63% - 59.6
Medium 75% - 71.6
High 100% - 95.4
Fixed mind. :o)

massive range is massive
EDIT: Thinking about, it's probably comparable to a trad. Sturmey 3-spd
A bit like a 48T chainring running 13/17/22Even if I could spin up a 95" gear I still think I'd struggle to keep it moving without a bit of gravitational assistance!!

Knee saving.
(Not sure of cadence)

44/21
45/17
53/15

Sometimes I leave it in 100% when setting off and just think, fuck that.
There is a thread about it somewhere for further reading.

New saddle.
(thanks chris gee).
Originally I planned to remove the white print but acetone seemed to remove more black than white.....
In the few hours it's been on the bike, the print has grown on me.....
So, should I keep it on there, or continue to seek a solvent to make it an ornary black supercorsa....?

Sargent & co freed up the lock-ring on the record pista hubs. now running 49/15 so will put a front brake on, but was eager to go for a spin. New wheelset, forks, post, headset.... forks tightened up the geometry.

So awesome.
this is my chain tool....doesn't have the cradle, but i normally adjust the link after connecting a chain..... impatience got the better of me. oh dear.
What tool is that? Looks beefy...
Screwdriver through chain and wiggle has always worked for me..

Looks fun, what is going on with the cockpit? The frame is darn sweet though. If you ever want to sell the frame, please let me know!

i really like the print........ and great build.

• #82871
Not so fond of the print myself but the bike needs more than that to not be awesome.

Yeah it does, doesent it. Makes me want one in my size!
Well i built it to ease her in to cycling. Road drops and spd´s etc would be pushing it so 10s veloce flatbar was a good solution. I got some matching road levers when / if she feels abit more comfortable on a bike and wants to try drop bars.

I have the CT-7 for track chains and it's great, makes light work of the job. Looks like they've replaced the different sizes with that sliding design. Which makes sense, although you do lose the stiff link cradle.
the sun is out today! maybe i am a little too optimistic.... finished just in time for winter! Doh.
its a Boss DR-202 Groove box. 90's drum machine. Midi sync it with my miro korg, loads of fun.
