All being well this should be with me next week. Thinking all black get up
That's one of my favourite Colnago colours.
Silver will look better, trust me.

You reckon? was thinking black because some slightly deep wheels will stop it looking like a gate I hope.

Shamals? (with pink accents)

Looks lovely, is that 62ctt?
I'm running cosmic elites on my largish Dolan and think the deep black looks good against the otherwise classic
-ish build. Will be moving the parts onto my 62cm Mercian over winter.
Not sure if they combat the gateness but I like them, split on whether to remove decals.

Shamals? (with pink accents)
I would.

I think go for all silver parts, maybe with deep carbon wheels :D
I have a picture of that with front and rear Corima 4 spokes somewhere, but I can't find it!!!

Love that Rourke, quite like the modern mish mash on the Dolan too.
Seller said it's 64, I'm going to guess that's ctt because it doesn't look too huge. I've got CXP33's on my beater and that's a good balance I reckon.

The Somec that's replacing it was listed as 64ctc with a 20cm headtube, so slightly taller than the Rourke, with 0.5cm longer toptube (60cm)
I may be putting the Vento wheelset up for sale in mid-October if you're interested I'll keep you in mind...

Talking of TB14s, finished my Novatec Bolt-up/TB14 wheelset yesterday, 28/25c 4 Seasons ready for winter miles. Come over all T-rex with an inline post and 90mm stem, but got a layback post and 110mm stem to go on when I switch to drops.

I prefer cosmics without the decals TM. Cracker setup BTW.

Sargent & co freed up the lock-ring on the record pista hubs. now running 49/15 so will put a front brake on, but was eager to go for a spin. New wheelset, forks, post, headset.... forks tightened up the geometry.

Love it. Concordes are dead nice...

Seized chain link?
-
• #82841
I bet that was were it was joined, it needs to be flexed side to side to free it
-
• #82842
very nice, would ride
-
• #82843
yup, it is the join point, just put the chain on, need to work it free.
still need to tweak it a little, but was impatient and wanted to have a ride while the sun was out...

Aqua goes well with alloys.

If you have a stiff link like that where you've joined the chain you can swap the chain tool over to the other side and give it a little bit of pressure back in the other direction to free it. Most chain tools have a stiff link position to put the chain into that's different from the position to break/join the chain.

this.
fuck a tight link cradle >>>>>>>>
-
• #82848
this is my chain tool....doesn't have the cradle, but i normally adjust the link after connecting a chain..... impatience got the better of me. oh dear.
I bought one of those after stripping the main thread out of a little Park Tools chain tool while splitting a 1/8" KMC Z510.
When it arrived I was a bit peeved to notice that you couldn't loosen stiff links, but I reckon (and I'm not responsible if you trash your nice new chain tool) that if you take the sliding cradle off and turn it round so it's braced against the far side of the tool you can use it to loosen a stiff link.

Screwdriver through chain and wiggle has always worked for me.
49:15 Lucky? Has nobody told you Summer is over?

Boss drum? - nice
If anything, it will make the tyre profile less bulbous and more evenly spread out over the rim, being wider and less tall. Therefore should mean clearance is larger, if that makes sense.
