The only reason I chose to sacrifice this bike is because in its road disguise its a bit too big for me, horizontal 53cm TT.

Bt srsly, these do fit well (one of them being a custom) which has forced me to the conclusion that I have been flouncing bikes mainly for the lack of fit/comfort in the past.
I thank jammy for the fit btw.

My missus is buying it tomorrow - she is already in love with it.

Is this the tacx one? I hated it. The minoura ones feel solid but they are made for 2 bottles. Havent found a nice but not pricey option for this yet. Anyway I will be selling the only bike without bottle cage mounts tomorrow so I dont care much ;)

Yeah, I've not had chance to go for a ride with it yet though. If I get on with it then I could probably be persuaded to spend more money on a better one

Was built up with whatever i had in the parts bin/whatever i could pick up cheap (I have no money lol)

Brief spec:
Unknown frame/forks ( about 90% sure it is a Gitane)
Front wheel: Normandy Hub/ Mavic rim. (Landed in Paris to start a cycling holiday with my mates and i had forgotten to put my front wheel in my bike box. We found a bike repair shop and i got this for 17Euro complete with wing nuts)
Rear wheel: Cheap ebay that looked most like the front wheel.
Headset: Campagnolo Veloce.
Chainset: On One External bb track chainset.
Seatpost: Cheap Ebay.
Stem: Cinelli
Bars: Cinelli criterium

First up to be swapped out is the BMX halflink chain, I just had it to hand when building.
Total spend was about £190 and I am really pleased with how it turned out.
