[mdcc_tester] UK time trials are run under RTTC rules so differently sized wheels are legal. (insert something about sleeve length) [/mdcc_tester]

Tesco run a market aggregation operation, in much the same way as Amazon and Google do.
Anyway, don't buy it. Shimano BB-UN55 is well worth the extra over a Stronglight JP400
Keep it in mind, but some one offered me a record 102mm bb, cranks need 103mm but with spacers on the hub it should work out fine?
-
• #81185
If the cranks need a 103mm JIS, using the 102mm campag will move each crank inboard by about 1.5mm; it might work, but the clearance from crank boss to cup can close right up, it's not usually a huge gap to start with on those short axles. You can also have chainstay clearance problems when you start moving the cranks, spider and chainring inboard.

Very cool but quite pointless with speedplays.
-
• #81187
Why? It's not exactly a cross bike.
-
• #81188
Why not a 28c slick tyre?
-
• #81189
are you not allowed to use speedplays if you go over 28c?
-
• #81190
Cause i've already ridden that and wanted to try fatter tyres, and as i happened to have a set of 32mm paselas lying around i put them on. No major effect on speed but much more fun.
-
• #81191
what rim width you running those on?
-
• #81192
Not sure. But they're not particularly wide so the profile is kind of bulb-ish.

Really lovely, but you need a bigger frame..
As much as it pains me admit, I think you're right :-( My regular road bike for a while now has been a Canyon 62cm, which suits me quite well (I'm 6.4). That frame is 58 c-c and the top tube is 58,5. The Look is 57.5 c-c and top tube 57.5, so I was thinking: saddle a bit higher and a slightly longer stem. I feel really good on the Look, but after while my knee starts to hurt ... next day I ride the Canyon - no problems with the knees :-(

The difference between the frames is small enough that you should be able to duplicate the position; the fact that you have problems suggests that you have failed to accurately do so. Get your measuring stick out and check everything.

I would have to agree with tester. Setting your saddle higher to achieve more reach seem abit like asking for problems.
But looking at the look perhaps both are too small. I recently bought a slightly to small frame aswell :(

Indra you do talk nonsense sometimes
-
• #81197
Meh, I always speak what I'm thinking.
I wouldn't run 32c treaded tyres with a pedal system that can't tolerate dirt because I don't see the point of having a heavier slower rolling tyre when a slick 28c could be just as comfortable and just as grippy on decent road while being faster.
-
• #81198
They're not treaded.
-
• #81199
I can see the tread on them though.

Let's call the whole thing off
Thanks. It's a Cannondale Capo
