  • Ah fair, I have one of those stems lying around, the bolts are all rounded though :(

  • Ftfy.

Hehe my bad. Your avatars are both black, didn't look properly!

  • Tesco run a market aggregation operation, in much the same way as Amazon and Google do.

Anyway, don't buy it. Shimano BB-UN55 is well worth the extra over a Stronglight JP400

  • That deda is an excellent shape for the build IMO

    This

  • I can haz that frame please Gaston? Or even better, the bike!

Sorry but my English is not developed enough to understand. you can explain to me more slowly?

Leak fashion is the best way to make it new.

  • Just picked up my latest eBay purchase - got much more than I expected. Argos 531 track frame but with a surprise full 70's record pista group and wheels! V good value for my £250 I reckon.

  • Any pics? ;) Pics or didn't happen, etc, etc..

    Sorry!

I would like to have that Salmon bike, it is beautiful

  • Gaston, the origin of that phrase is "I can haz cheezburger?"

  • Embarassingly, I've only just rebuilt my 'summer' roadie, having started it in spring! I've run this frame, group and wheels for a few years, but felt the silver crank and brakes were letting the side down. I decided to overhaul most of the components at the same time. Its now got FSA SL-K carbon cranks and TRP R960 brakes. Look Keo Max 2 Carbon pedals replaced classics.

Also I felt the 90mm stem was sitting me a little far back on the bike, so its got a 3T 100mm stem on and saddle forward a bit. Finally there was a tiny crack in the carbon steerer of the stock fork, enough to worry me, so I put a new Columbus Tusk Light fork on (thanks to the forum's own thedopestghost).

45 miles on it this morning and it feels great, maybe it's done? Should do me for another couple of years :-)

    Nice commuter!

    Looks like Airlight hub.

  • Airlight sounds right - it has some small letters on the barrel saying BH.

  • Distort, that a 14r?
Def need to see better pics!

Looks more like an Airlite :-)

Could be a Bayliss-Wiley, they look very similar

BH suggests British Hub Co., makers of Airlites.

  • The current stable: carbon, alu and steel.
