  • luke you NEED that

    agreed :)

  • Moved to a fizik antares. Nicer than the SLR, touch wider at the nose.

  • I'm all about the skinny nose. usellzSLR?

  • If you want a naked one then yeah I can sell. Got a few of them.

  • after a covered one preferably.

  • Otley down there

I snapped this one for you, nice 45-50 miles over cow and calf and round past Bolton Abbey...

I admit though gears are desirable at times....

  • I wouldn't bother, just run it out from under the tape

@andytk - ok that is what I will do.

  • Probably not most forumengers cup of tea... but here's my current project in it's beginnings:

    Fun times ahead!

  • ^wicked

c'mon folks someone buy my DH/Freeride frame

  • Pedals are temporary and I'm aware it's the shittiest cabling job ever. I still need to make it shift properly rather than just be at least ridable but it'll have to wait for a few days.

Also I forgot to buy new brake pads and I really need to do that, road bikes are confusing enough to me anyway and this one doesn't really stop.

  • looks great, love the cheeky pink cables

  • Just bought this. Stronglight cranks. Nitto bars/stem. shimano rx100 brakes. dura ace shifters. mavic rims. shimano hubs. SJS 59cm tange cr mo frameset. NOS turbo saddle. aero seatpost. continental tyres. all brand new. Seems a good buy for 150 quid! ;)

  • That Cotic looks nice. Plans for build?

  • ^^ good work, that looks great.

  • ^^^ drop or change post asap

  • Probably not most forumengers cup of tea...

    It'll do for me :-)

    10/10

  • Bought this but haven't paid yet, seemed a good price, but trying to work out what model it is.

It's definitely a 72, so if it's in as good condition as he says it is the price is aiiight.

  • ^^ good work, that looks great.

    me?

  • Yeh. And good point made above re the seatpost. It'll have a min insertion mark to prevent you killing your new frame.

  • finished up the ottadini. not one for the brand purists but I like it.

  • Nice bike, but take a link out of the chain, so you can tension it properly. Also the levers are quite high on the bars.

  • Finished a budget bike for a (small) friend of mine, sub 200 euro's.
    Specs:

    • Gazelle Formula Race 54 square
    • Shimano 600 Tricolore group
    • Cinelli XA / Rose Attack
    • New Tyres, bartape, brake pads, chain and cassette, bottle cages
    • Cheap seatpost / Cheapish Selle Italia Saddle

Quite decent build in my eyes, crappy photo's though.

    Coloured cables +1

  • Yeah I like that pink. No point getting sensible cables when you're blessed with a paint job like that.
