  • Yeh. And good point made above re the seatpost. It'll have a min insertion mark to prevent you killing your new frame.

its surprisingly long, the mark is about a centimetre into the seat tube.

  • I'm all about the skinny nose. usellzSLR?

I'm thinking about parting ways with mine actually. Its an slr XP 165g version. Fairly good nick, scouple scuffs that I covered with black leccie tape on the side. PM if youre interested and I'll take some pictures for you.

  • Cheers man but only after a 135g in very good nick.

  • My alien bikes track frame. Need a few new bits (wheelset, seatpost)

  • Almost bought that for the mrs, looks great.

These wheels would be great on it.

  • That's nice, really clean build.

  • Thanks guys. That wheelset would look pretty good, totally skint at the minute though.

  • How about I buy them and sell to you in a month at a %15 mark up?

  • I may be moving t'up north in a few weeks so I need to save my pennies. Much appreciated though.

  • De Rosa Pista Aerodinamica

    With ergo bars:

BTW you see the clearance with 23c tyres.

  • That Cotic looks nice. Plans for build?

Yep I have plans. What kit I can swap over from my hardtail I will, which will be Renthal Fatbars (780) hi rise, Thomson 50mm stem, XT cranks, E13 SRS chain device, Saint rear mech, wheels will be Hope Pro II hubs and Mavic EX721 rims (rear wheel will be new due to needeng 142 x 12 hub axle). Fork will initially be my Pike 454s until the new 2013 Pikes come out (this month supposedly) Hope headset, and a Rockshox Reverb 125 post and Charge spoon saddle. Oh yeah and XT disk brakes. Maxxis High Roller tyres. I think that's everything.
Can't wait to get it built!

  • De Rosa Pista Aerodinamica

    zoom on the tubes pls?

  • Fuck yeah de rosa. Needs a non-saggy flite though.

  • Comfort > Look.

  • I love flites, but that one has been loved too much. Full disclosure; mine is covered in electrical tape and 100% banana'd. My bike is ugly all over though :)

Sounds good! I looked at getting a second hand Hemlock before I ended up with my Corsair, always loved Cotic frames.

  • Little update of my 650 TT titanium

  • I had my computer there for a while, but it's hard to see when racing. Best place is on a bridge between the tribars

  • I know but I can't put it more forward because my fork is too wide for the sensor.

  • like this ?

  • like this?

Yes, that's where mine is now.

  • I know but I can't put it more forward because my fork is too wide for the sensor.

Time to treat yourself to a Garmin 200/500 so you can dispense with the sensor :-)

  • Yeah, maybe later :-)
