I don't pretend to know much about mtn bikes but this looks sorted. 7sp and not-posh mech makes a lot of sense if it gives you a tougher bike.

However...
Those pedals aren't plastic, so you're here under false pretences >>>

Columbus Airplane with Carbon Stays arrived from Italy so threw a cheap groupset on it.
Slightly concerned that the mech clamp seems to have been overtightened but hopefully it's just paint damage...
Slowly going to upgrade the groupset, I just bought this of George Sportif to get me on the road.

Cheers man, shame about the Veloce/Mirage group on a 1.3KG frame, mind... Should also probably get some proper headset spacers.

^^Looks great Rogan. Hope you sort out the niggles you have at the moment as that will be awesome when it's working well.
-

^ yeah i figured out my rattling was the bottle cage being loose,
the red bike shop guy apologised as to what happened yesterday and the owner guy looked at it for me when i took it in and the derailleur hanger was a bit off, so he put it back into place and it runs way way smoother now

What happened to the old levers? Would they be for sale?

Cheers brah. Keeping an eye out for carbon/black campy components.
Do we think the slight clamp damage (2nd pic) is nothing to worry about then?

Ok, black hubs/spokes/carbon rims, black cranks, black stem and bars, carbon seatpost, black saddle, Ultegra Di2, orange and white frame.
Therefore- what bottle cages?
-
• #73369
King cages.

Get some nice thin ones (nitto?) in silver that dont stand out to much against the orange frame as black would. Perhaps get em painted to match while they do the frame, could be nice, has to be thin ones tho?!
I like cages best when you hardly think of em at all. Massive black on orange steel would subtract from the frame imo.

He didn't get on with it, I'm keeping it as it got a massive jump of 10 gears in one stroke.
I suspect it not supposed to, but it work great.

The cages would mount where the off-white panels are on the seat and down tube.
I think the Nitto ones would be perfect, but they are $£$£

King cages.
?

I have those kings. They are pretty nice and good. Still like the nitto better on a thintubed steel bike. Just pay up you know you want to .)
-
• #73375
£48 per cage.
You are right, I do want them, but that's a lot of coin.
That I'd definitely go for.
