I'm trying to decide on some new tyres. My challenge criteriums are great in the dry on smooth roads, but they're slippy in the wet and puncture like there's no tomorrow. They've cost me 2 inner tubes and a mech hanger now.
I've not got on great with Conti GP4000's and Conti 4seasons feel a bit too sluggish. I loved Ultremo R.1's but am having second thoughts, mainly because they wear quite quickly and are bloody expensive. I tried Ultremo ZX's and I may as well have not bothered pumping up my tyres they punctured that often. I'm tempted to go back to R.1's, but I'm having doubts, I may have just been lucky with them before. I'm trying to read up on Ultremo DD's but it's the usual conflicting opinions on the internet about anything.

I read some good things about Vredestein Freccia TriComp and they are on sale at Sigma, so I've bought some of those. I wanted tan wall but I thought, these will do for the bad weather and get some summer tyres for the summer time. All black should look pretty boss.

I have the 4 seasons on my ribble and they feel great. dont find them sluggish at all. ridden them on pretty much every north loop with the north crew.

Also I have your old zx's on those carbon wheels and they havent punctured where as i often punctured the r1's

I've got the 4seasons on my track bike, they're alright, just don't feel as fast as 4000's/ultremo's.

That's not LFGSS at all. There's a dialogue that feels nice a conversation-like (sometimes) and adding all that crap to a page just makes everyone sound like a dick.

Think of your sad facebook 'friends' that litter their walls with AmazingInsights and HilariousAnecdotes. It's an easy trap to fall into but it's all 100% fail to onlookers.
