^^ Yeah, I'm planning on getting one towards the summer, really nice looking frames.
Still can't decide what frame size though, normally got for a 56cm TT on a road bike, had 55cm on the MASH, and 57cm on my CX is a little bit of a stretch (with 120mm stem!), but would also go for a 58-59cm c-t ST normally.
Is there a rule of thumb for sizing track frames in comparison to traditional road geomtery?

Then surely get the 57
59ctc and 56.5 tt sounds perfect. You don't need a 120mm stem -

Nice looking bike though! What frame is that?

I don't think the big block is boring. SNIP
I totally get what your saying, there's a reason its in the top 5, big down side is the long top tube, but its a very practical track bike for sure. But i have always liked the style of a classic steel track bike, id rather my main bike looked that way, personally preference.
I can always build up a Pompino or something to be real practical.

Top one is mine. Picked up a couple of days ago, if all goes well I could have an initial build out and about tomorrow evening.

Nice :)!

Is that why road stems only come in 10mm or larger?
Actually, they are available in sizes from 50mm, depending on model.

This is my Dad's 1979 Harry Perry winter/touring bike, it has been sat under a sheet unused for 15 years, he doesn't need it any more considering he's been dead for a year.....
So, I took it apart and cleaned everything until it worked, cut the rusted spokes out of the wheels and rebuilt, replaced cables and chain, bunged on a Rolls and put it all back together with nice new bar tape. Everything else is original including the paint.
Anyway, I rode it into the studio on my coastal commute today and took a picture. It rolls very nicely but at an estimated 30lbs plus it is NOT a climbers bike. Dropped someone on a full carbon road bike on the flat though, it can't be bad!

Just bought this, unseen. Made a cheeky offer and it got accepted.
http://i.ebayimg.com/t/531-f-w-evans-touring-frame-with-ta-chainset-/00/s/NzY4WDEwMjQ=/$T2eC16ZHJGQE9noMb,LuBQJ3Dj!HmQ~~60_35.JPG25" FW Evans touring frame. I'm trying not to get over-excited, but hopefully I've finally found the frame I've been after for years - a handsome steel light touring frame in XL size, with a relatively short top tube, and for a reasonable price. And (whisper it) being a touring frame might mean it has large enough clearances to take 650x42 tyres and guards (if brake drop isn't too much, that is... I'll go plain old 700c otherwise).
Let's hope that when it arrives, it doesn't turn out to be a shitheap.

Condor, on Grays Inn Road, they have a lot of bars. Was in there the other day having a little peruse, seeing if I could find more bars for my collection of completely unneeded and unnecessary drops.
