Thanks man, I did have an SLR on it. And i could live with this much post, but it feel really stretched out after a while, and i want more flexibilty with stem length. My inexperience got the better of me, i will make sure the next one fits me better!

That is true, but it would mean using a really short stem with bulls, e.g. less than this 70mm one fitted. Plus i would like a bit more saddle to bar drop than this.

are those hubs sheriff's? if so may be wise to not put them on a 'campus' bike

Aha no they're £15 Planet-X track hubs.

Finally cleaned up my project to be, a Dutch DRV Cycle, although it's going to take a while as I need the funds. Perfect frame for me with a 62cm c/t seattube and a short 57 c-c top tube.

The frame was built here in The Netherlands buy a guy named Dirk Visbeek in Zaandam, very nicely built with Silva lugs and a Cinelli Spoiler BB shell. It was my beater a while ago but decided to clean her up.

Not really sure whether to stick with the DA/600 mix or whether to go Campag... Not sure on the tubing but probably SP.

Just so long as it wasn't fuelled by poor whiskey ;-)

this is my predicament, i think it'll look a bit boring all black, but white saddle and black bartape is against 'the rules'. maybe i'll just put a brown brooks with matching bartape and break 6pt's heart.

Nice frame. Whats the proposed build kit? Go for black saddle and black tape unless you have 15 quid a month and a stash of white saddles to keep them looking pristine. Yellowing tape and saddles look rubbish.
