  • Inb4 negative shim...

  • ^^ What's the diameter of the bar?

Cross top levers come in 26.mm and will fit the B123aa.

  • Sell the lever and get a DirtyHarry

  • Bar diameter should be 24mm, but I will measure it when I get home to be sure.
    I donĀ“t like the dirtyharry.
Filing is not a good option?

  • Not really, they're designed to fit 22.2mm clamp size. You'll have to do quite a bit of filling and it gets pretty thin around the hinge.
Your only option really is a cross top or a Dirtyharry/goldfinger.

  • I would just like to take a moment to talk about Fulcrum's new 2013 Racing 3 wheel set: I got them just before the RotFL and have put about 200k on them so far but they are:

    based on campag's zonda wheelset
    1550g
    24mm front, 30mm rear
stiff as hell (i've had brake rub on all my wheel sets but these refuse to budge)
smooth ride (esp with open corsas)
dont catch a side wind but cut the wind enough to beat my previous speed record on 50mm tubs @ 89kph
    look great

    obligatory picture on the bike:

couldn't be happier, would certainly recommend. The only downside is that they now use a thicker seal so the unusually noisy, yet entirely traditional campagnolo hub sound is quelled somewhat.

Nice wheels. Nice bike. I'd prefer a campag group but otherwise it's all good. I've been considering a set of R3 wheels. I think you might have just pushed me over the edge!

  • canyon sure puts a lot of urls on the bikes these days

  • if it helps hit 89kmph I wouldn't care either

  • Nice bike. I'd prefer a campag group

me too, i've been waiting for > 6 months for someone to sell me their Record 11sp Groupo.

  • No change to the road bike I'm afraid- that power meter went on the Boardman.

It is the lightest power meter in the world, that said.

I was really surprised at how little was actually in the box!

  • There is always something not quite right with (at least) one of the bikes I own - the curse of multiple bike ownership.

    Merckx headset: stop loosening yourself
Merckx rear axle: stop slipping when I do standing starts
Track bike: there is a tiny bit of grit loose in your front rim, it doesn't do anything/isn't dangerous but I can hear that fucker :(

Dropped it off to Sam this morning at LMNH, he has made it feel like a different bike.

The only thing left is the chain being thrown when back pedalling, but that looks to be a function of the chainring being bent.

I've got a pair of 46/36 Stronglight CT2's arriving on Friday, so I'll chuck those on and see if it's fixed.

Once they arrive I'll swap to my 12-27 cassette and it'll be ready for winter duties.

I would be over the moon if all I have to do is clean it and lubricate the chain over winter- that is my current dream.

  • Current Dreams chat and miscellany could be a thread of its own.

  • That's ChainBreakers' latest build thread.

  • But of course something had to go wrong, the fucking ANT+ speed sensor has died after 47km

  • Sorry, am I in the Volvo thread?

  • Fixie-wheel-bikes were supposed to make our lives fucking easier, not turn us into whatever this is...
    #itsacancer

  • You don't even race, Neil...

  • Ffs!

  • You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to TS again.

    .

  • I don't understand what you are ranting about Joe.

  • Neither do I but it's always fun watching a drunk fighting a laptop.

    :)

  • I've been at the pub with object...

  • Bastards!

  • Seriously tho'... Get a fucking life, girls!!!

  • This could be fun.
