Frame bought up of here, thanks to Ghah....built up as a commuter (with cheap wheels) but it was so nice to ride thought I'd put my best wheels on it....thinking it may stay that way!

Hopefully it will appear so to your average Leeds scally, plastic wheels with few spoke are a bit of a giveaway.

But they look totally different.

If I can get or make the decals I want, and don't use black, the colours will still work... plus I wanted metallic and pearlescent, not matte.

Meh, slightly disheartened that mash got there with the pink/green/blue thing before me though.

As long as you stay away from matte there's no comparison. Plus blacks the dominant colour on the histogram and Green is on the Merckx

Its more that the colours which are in stark contrast on the Mash are the pink/green/blue, but yeah should still work if not matte.

Trying to decide on tyres for the Cross Check. I run 700 x 28 Randonneurs on the Pompino and they've never let me down, but wondered if there was something a bit faster out there which would still offer good puncture protection, or if I should just go for the Randonneur Pros. I want 700 x 32 I think. Was looking at these 2:
