If you can put a seat post in there and tighten it in place then the frame is fine?
-
• #61017

-
• #61018
@Hovis: I'm looking for that kind of lugged fork, very classic look, to replace the aluminium shit I currently have.
see attached, yours if you want it.
Isn't that a size below yours? Or am I remembering wrong..Made an offer on it, might just get away with the size with that headset stack.
1cm smaller, my alu one is 60-58

Saarf, how'd you get it out in the end?
-
• #61020
well , i hacksawed the the edge of stem by seatpost clamp, started on the otherside with a file.
on the edge that had space from seatpost tube, hammer a screwdriver in,
used another screwdriver chisel like and it snapped, then used pilers to retirive,
was well lubricated through out the process(me, not the frame)
-
• #61021
excuse syntax error , was eating my tea
well, turned out all right in the end,
think it was you that said bang the screwdriver in, cheers dude,
the cuts in the post must has released the pressure as they say
no real damage bar the cosmetic that was allready there
as the ugly little toad married to Debbie Magee would say

It has digits stamped on the lower headtube lug?
I already love it. Despite the faux lomo.
Let me know then please I'm after a decent sized road frame, got everything ready just no frame.
