There are only these
No way would I paint campagnolo the andels are quite good and strong and the chain line is better, than the omniums.
Anyway makes them no different to these.
I could tell they were Andel ones. Why put £60 cranks on a £1k frame? But more importantly why put classicly styled £60 cranks on a modern carbon frame with massive tubes?

It was supposed to be this
I think i found the perfect guidon.

Shorter stem+ seems like new bars too?
-
• #59234
Bars are the same, just at a bit of a jaunty show-biz angle due to my innate laziness.

• #59235
Stem is different tho!!!

if anyone has a kid on the way, consider it a current project, and buy this:

I know i sometimes it's important how it looks but these days it's how it rides and these ride, really well and the chain line is very good.

How much fun would it be setting up Rotor Q-Rings on an SRM powermeter, with Di2?
so campy EPS waits for the right ramp when shifting up on the front. Maybe DA9000 Di2 will have similar?
-
• #59239
Have you tried a full Di2 system? The front shifting just happens, perfectly, every time.
I think I've degraded mine a bit using hollowgram cranks/srm spider/Cannondale rings

RG wins.
Stem angle is the same as before, and yes, dropped it down 5mm and lost 30mm in length.
My Cannondale has a 575mm top tube and 120mm stem, the Klein is now 595 and 100.
I'll ride it into work tomorrow and see how it feels.

spacer on top?
5mm of height dropped on spacer
RG wins
heeeey!
-
• #59243
unless the photo's lying there's no way the new stem is a 90 deg like the previous one!
also, it's not just about TT to centre of stem, you need to factor in the distance from tip of the saddle nose
-
• #59244
Previous stem was also a negative, the picture may be deceptive.
Interestingly the distance from tip of saddle nose to top of hood was identical for the two bikes (Cannondale and Klein), with the old stem.
We now have 78cm nose to hood on the Cannondale and 74cm nose to hood on the Klein.

• #59245
well, it looks better now, more 'right'

cough...stack and reach...cough
Really, it's the only way to measure properly. If you measure the 3 sides of the fit triangle, you have no control over the angle through which you have it rotated. Stick to Cartesian coordinates with the axes properly horizontal and vertical.
-
• #59247
Almost completely useless picture:
The Cannondale is a lot lower at the front- lower than the Klein can ever be.
Bars and hoods make the Cannondale quite a bit longer, also.
I am sure it is something to do with this Stack and Reach business, but the Klein felt much more stretched out than the Cannondale, when they were both identical in terms of saddle to hood.
-
• #59248
distance between nose of saddle to BB? (horizontal).
-
• #59249
just a minor aesthetic point, but i think the Klein needs a silver stem and seatpost

yes, needs moar bikes!
Ignore the bar angle, that's me being more keen to eat my dinner than adjust it, it will go down a touch.
