I'm building up an old BSA i got for £30, bought one of these for it as it was a 3 speed to start with, and built it into a fresh rim -
Problem i've got is that the handlebars stem is 23.8mm clamp, and i can't find a pair of drops to fit it :/ -

why does the chainring on the right not look round?
because, strangely enough, it isn't

Nahh it would look mad on this thing :L i really don't want to have to get a new stem as i wanted to keep the bike as original as possible, but that looks like the only option i have atm

Biopace chainring + ghostring at fixed gear bicycle - YouTube
can we talk about this please
-

Claimed to be good, I don't think there's an accurate measurement of whether it make an improvement or not.
I ran a biopace before but like cranks length, it's something you may not feel when riding.
Of course that's my experiences with the biopace which are subtle compared to the one on the TT rigs.

Information so good it comes out twice...

I've ridden Rotor Q rings and a difference is noticeable IMO.
Then again I've been told by Lord Tester that the difference I noticed when climbing between 23 and 28c tyres was probably psychosomatic. Perhaps I'm very suggestible.

No way would I paint campagnolo the andels are quite good and strong and the chain line is better, than the omniums...
I see a breakthrough right there, right there!! )))))

according to Velosport in Putney they've sold a set to everyone who's tried them.

_< must not try them!

It's ok. The one I tried could only shift to the little ring from a couple of cogs on the cassette.
This makes not owning them an lot easier.

How much fun would it be setting up Rotor Q-Rings on an SRM powermeter, with Di2?
And for that reason, I'm out.

On the flip side I'd like to try one out on the track, even though the chain momentum would probably help override the crank arm dead spot.
Magnus Backstedt is the only rider I've heard of doing this. -

Maybe a bit too far from circular for fixed gear use - lots of backlash from the slack chain just where you want it to be carrying you through the dead spot.

You rotated the bar like an Evans' customer's first road bike?
why does the chainring on the right not look round?
