  • yeah, i dont want it to be a Ritchey poster bike though. I think i most definitely will have a Ritchey cock pit

one of those stems and a wet red bar

those frames are porn, pricey though!
i've fancied one of the swiss cross frames in the same colourway for ages..

yeah theyre not cheap, but provided i get the right size i can keep it for a while as i can run it ss or geared. ive always wanted something in a red/white/blue colour way, it might prove a challenge building it nicely though

  • You are disappoint?

    what is this?

  • Hi all,

any suggestions for a wide-ish pedal?

MKS Gr-9's are a bit narrow for my size 12's and White Industries Urban platform are too expensive.

    Any inbetweens?

Either that or a link to the MKS Cusom Nuevos for £cheap

    thanks

    +1

I'm an 11 and the custom nuevos work well for me. Occasionally turn up on here and eBay, but never cheap new it seems. Sidi's and Atacs is a great combination though, I rarely use my CN now.

  • Any more pictures of this? Looks lovely, cheers.

    one maybe two pages back

  • Not seen hydraulic brake adapters before.

  • Interesting.

  • This is what I've been doing this afternoon... Needs putting together properly (just mocked up), a Thomson stem and a repaint of the forks...

    That a MASH?

  • Is that your Fort Malaysian?

  • Is that your Fort Malaysian?

    definitely not :)

    but what is it?

  • I think it is his Fort.

    And I like it :)

  • he sold his soul to the devil and bought a mash

  • ssshhhhh, no one will notice without the paint

I think it looks pretty cool, want to see it with the Corima though

  • Thought I'd add some more detail:

  • I'm not convinced that Hope have hone the right way round with this. If they put the two master cylinders parallel with the bar, and with the cable entries on opposite ends, they could eliminate a 90° bend and about 100mm of cable. Also, using a heasdset spacer as the bracket adds stack height, and might not work at all with a -17° stem.

  • My stem is a 0 degree one, any negative and I think you'd really struggle.

  • Just arrived. Either gonna take the group from another bike and sell that frame of build it from scratch. Never had 653 before!

  • what cranks is that?

  • here's what i got delivered yesterday. ca. 1980 production, out of some danish barn - photographed as it is.
i am going to bring it back to life. why not?
