It's an Interpro. IMO it's fun to ride in the city for a bit – then you do and do some proper cycling.

Only finished it this morning, so about 100 yards round the block - seemd fantastic, will get out one evening next week I reckon and give it a 30 mile try out.

Lovely. I'd have thought you should build it with Ritchey parts...

you had chorus chainset and rear mech in your spares box?! Got anything else lying around?!
I rebuilt my S-Works today after getting my lever back from being fixed - new brakes (courtesy of Andy) were a bit fiddly to set up - but I think having the Campag quick release in the levers made it a lot easier as it gives you that extra bit of slack to play with.
The brakes are considerably lighter than the 2006 record ones they replace and combined with Swiss stop greens seem to do a pretty good job (perhaps slightly less modulation than the campag) though will have to wait for the weekend to see what they're really like. Much prefer how the black looks on the bike than the old silver ones.
Also got some new tarty bartape and learned to index gears properly today. Woo. Amazing what you can do in a day off.

I neglected to mention the fiddly nature of them! I hope you find they work well enough (I think the better pads will make all the difference).

Is that what I think it is?...... Oh Malaysian.

What braking surface have your Rovals got Dan?
I've ended up with some spare SwissStop Yellow's if you need them.
-
• #57793
Andy: I had a giggle when I felt the surface of the red ones. Are they made of lego plastic or something?!
Oh, and I'd done enough Google trawling to know they're a bit faffy to set up - though I thought they were relatively easy.Dammit: The Rovals will have alu surfaces when they arrive - until then I'm on the Ambrosio Zenith / Mavics that Arup just rebuilt for me.
Do you not need the yellows for your carbon wheels? I might sell the Rovals depending on how I feel about them...

I have two sets of yellows, and one set of Reynolds Blue- which I am currently using.
The EE brakes I bought came with a set of yellows, hence the spares.

Oh and thanks to Scherrit/ Corrinne I now have ALL the clicks back in my left hand ergo lever, for super precise trimming. Realised that I had lost some as the springs wore out. Happy days

Ah-ha - will keep in mind if I decide to go the crabbon route

You are disappoint?
Yeah I know, but there's some kind of appeal that draws me to a pure bred track frame, and I've it a complete bike bar a frame siting in my garage, seems a watste not to oblige, what make is your frame? And does anyone have any info on nags for riding in the city?
