  • That's lovely.

The lever is kinda goofy but it's where you want it to feather when spinning down hills. I'd keep it.

  • Thanks, even tho I live in Hull( flat as a pancake) in too wimp to go brake less!
Drivers here don't really respect anything.
Only problem I got with the lever is too big, I want something abit smaller!

  • I liked this photo of my current project :)

  • My 14 bikco lo pro i'm working on. Hopefully i'll be done by april!

  • how much you looking to spend apolloxl?

(I had the same problem with some stronglight cranks snapping bolts)

    Start here:
    http://www.lfgss.com/thread14421.html

I have a set of BLB own track cranks (the basic ones) two years and 10,000 london miles at speed track standing and stomping off the line everytime still no problems.

    Poor start

  • Any tips?

  • Yes. Linking from Flickr doesn't work so well.

I wondered why the url wouldn't work.. Thanks.

  • As long as he doesn't attach a yellow saddle and grips/bartape, it could still be an okay build.

    They do work

you just have to get the right one

  • ^ cheers for that.

  • Seeing as I've finished this for now, I feel the need for something else to do... I've got this frame in the classifieds

but looking at it now I'd like to maybe build it up if it doesn't go soon. It should be a little small for me (last road frame was a 58) at 55.5 seat tube, 56 top tube (ctc) but the venom has a 56tt too and I'm really more comfortable - although it has a longer headtube. I'm pretty flexible :) is this a bad idea?

  • Picked this up last night, need to decide on groupset and wheels...

I think it needs some rim depth to go with the fat down tube; mine with 24mm deep rims looks a bit wrong, long term I'm thinking about something in the 40-45mm region. Groupset according to budget and prejudice - 2012 Red would be nice, but 2011 Force is ⅓ the price and 99% as good.

  • I almost rode my Look today, but then didn't.

  • Raining too heavily?

  • Vivid icy imaginings of sliding sideways and smashing shiny things

  • pussy
edit: that came off a little aggressive i think, sorry

  • Any tips?

I have tried writing a response 3 times but it was always too negative. In summery so far i don't really like any of the choices you have made, but it is your bike so do what you think is right. :)

  • CB don't be so mad...

About the bike; i don't get it why it will be completed by april.. it only needs a seat, seatpost, stem, bars and chain.. pedals are also practical.

My tip is; don't use to many colours. Keep it black orso, I mean; saddle and tape/grips.

You should have seen what I wrote before. probs a money thing not a time thing.

I also agree with the tips here
