After smashing my last bike/face, I have just taken delivery of a new frame (cheers PeterV!):

This will be my first 'project', built up with Shimano 600,I just need to sort a BB and a seatpost that fits.

Was thinking of getting it resprayed?
Would that be taking the piss? Perhaps I should just ride it and let the colour grow on me...

I like the paint on that Cadex.

Not sure how easy it is to strip and paint crabon without causing any structural defects.

That's ok, it's aluminium.....

I've had a few dealings with police over the years (god that sounds bad!), and I've found that most of them don't have a clue on the finer details of a lot of laws they try and enforce, but then they're not lawyers, they're policemen.
I had a law student for a housemate for about 3 years, it was very educational!

5600 is 105. You probably meant 6500, which was the last 9-speed Ultegra group.

Pretty much definitely a black saddle imo, but then blue tape (if you can match the decals), a lightish-mid grey for the tape would also look quite cool, especially if you could get a gun metal/dark grey groupset, NOT red or any red based colour.
