Just some new tyres, same old Mercian... I love her so much but I've neglected her lately... Just had her out for a little spin and she feels (as well as looks) lovely... See you bitches for a roll at lunchtime tomorrow! :)
Looking good, not seen your mercian before.
Friday lunchtime rides? Didn't know that took off, where are you going? Can I join?

if you want to do all the cooking and cleaning plus uncomplicated sex with a bald late 30's male for a badly converted and painted steel step-thru with dodgy wheels feel free to PM me.*
*it's meant to be funny and obviously a joke if you find it offensive i'll delete it as after 4 Belgian beers my usually impeccable judgment and sense of decorum may be lacking.
** just realised i have no idea if you are male, female or undecided.

Just sprayed the new forks up for the black lo-pro. Some strightblade steel jobbies that the bloke at my local bike shop gave me. Were originally a pretty horrible yellow/red 2 tone, now a nice glossy black :)
Best thing is, it'll barspin (JUST)Expect some photos when the lacquer has dried enough for me to re-assemble.
Photos...
And the barspin "clearance"

Quality job on the fork respray, good colour match.
What paint & Lacquer did you use?
-
• #5297
Some shit in a can from the local car spray place. It's OK, not perfect. Glossy though!
6 or 7 coats of colour then 4 of lacquer. I might polish them when it's cured if I can be bothered...but I probably can't

doing a similar thing over the next 2 months.

.i did a similar thing (building a bike for the gf), then when i was riding home the other night, after she said she was meant to be working late and tired, when i saw it chained to the fence at the pub next to her x's place (you do the maths?!). I now wish i hadn't put my nice miche cranks on it as i ain't seeing her/them again. quality.
Just tried the stuff I had at home.
Still waiting for a nice package :)
