It's not right at all IMO.
A lugged steel, or thin straight-blade carbon fork would look ok, and probably ride much better than the alu fork.
And the tyres don't just look bad – I found Michelin Lithions really sooo slippery under braking (on my road bike).

Does anyone know where in the UK I can get a Wald 139 basket in silver, or very similar? Obviously Tokyo Fixed do, but the website says out of stock, I emailed to ask them if/when they were expecting more but got no reply.
Oh, and unless someone is willing to act as a middle man on my behalf I'd need somewhere that I can buy it online and ship within the UK. I'm currently in Oz but really want all the components together by the time I get back.
I have a 135 model that you could have for the cost of postage, about 20 UK pounds.
Sent by air it would take about a week. -

*Edit, In an ideal world, I was actually looking for 2 (front and rear) so even with OJAW's kind offer I'm still interested to hear if anyone knows where I can get them.

Perhaps KC is a little bored? The crimes I've committed to my bikes through sheer boredom and desire to 'tinker'!

straight thin steel fork with less rake, larger chainring and black tires, sorted imo

rear one has a threaded spoke hole, so needs a new rim, and the front one I feel I may as well replace because the braking surface is quite worn and because I can.

Kingcutter, what did you use to get the Charge decals off that chrome plug?

^^ any thoughts on rims? What are they 18/24?
-
• #50538
They're Kysirium Elite wheels, so the rims are getting replaced like for like.
-
• #50539
you checked to see whether the nipples are seized to the rims yet? that's always fun. (alu on alu innit)

Probably worth putting some bolts in the bottle bosses, to stop water bringing on rust in the bb shell.

I actually think this looks ok not sure what the fork issue is it rides fine.

head angle on charges is weird so hard to make it look nice.

:)
pretty much. I've put my Omnium cranks on, and it's going to get a yellow saddle, probably a turbo and black bars/stem, probably airwings but I'm toying with the idea of risers. -

risers and soyos... you know you want to.
+100
Lolz at the front wheel though.
