  • Finished my pennine sort of.
Need to get rid of the awful plastic toe clips and eventually swap the wheels out for 27" but other than that it'll do for now.
Spent yesterday at Sargent & Co with Rob, drinking beer, smoking fags and fixin bikes. All good stuff

    indoor camera phone pic fail

What happened to the 27" and the Michelins?
Looks good by the way. Is that a swallow?

  • it's teaching me...

  • Get those stickers off your rims Jim, otherwise looks great! I want a tree climbing bike.

  • Finally got my leader, after weeks of shite.
Still need a Zero stack headset, 103mm BB and a 31.8 seatpost clamp.

  • leader looks good, hope they've sorted the rear stay length issue.

  • Nah, they hadn't but it just takes a bit of tinkering,
    Comes with some tugs anyway.

  • i still need a lot of parts but hey ... i've got plenty of time until summer.
the rims are getting powdercoated black, black spokes and nipples. i'm not sure about the crankset yet. i would love to get a concor but they are so hard to find!

    whey, looking good

    is it aluminium or steel?

  • Aluminium, light as a feather.
But it wont be ridden for a loong time.

  • im sure this is a accident damaged frame, nice all the same

My just be the perspective of the pic, but the headtube angle looks **very **steep.

I might have an aluminiun 31.8 seatpost if you're interested? It's an Alien, in black with the cyclops mount. Although I think it might be a 31.6?

    PM me if you're interested.

  • Nah i need a clamp, but i dont have any money anyway ¬.¬

  • Heres my Paddywagon with new wheels cranks and seat, just need some new bars and stem and i think its done.

  • and some clips

  • i still need a lot of parts but hey ... i've got plenty of time until summer.
the rims are getting powdercoated black,

I think simply peeling off the sticker and polishing the rims would look much better than a powercoated look.

  • yes and some clips :(

  • I love the 2007 Kona Paddywagon colour and decal, much nicer and classy than the newer one.

clips too, would make a big difference (also I must says that the MTB white pedal look really weird on that bike).

  • Would clips fit on BMX platform pedals? Might have to get some powergrips instead.

  • gonna get powergrips they should/will fit on the pedals

depends on the pedals, some do, some don't. Powergrips are awesome though so I'd go that route.

  • +1 Power grips rule.....the spd's are only used for going far & fast these days!
