^^Thats seriously nice Schnitter, I'm not a fan of the saddle, but they are comfy things so will allow you it! What's the deal with the tape behind right hand lever?

first time with handlbar-tape ... small part for the lever clamp didn't stick, so i added some electrical tape
hoped no one would notice ^^ -

photo 1.JPG by monomaniac(tom), on Flickrdecided i need 172.5 or 175 cranks though - these feel odd, anyone got any campagnolos in their toolbox?
Where did you source the gum tyres from? I've got a build in mind where I had gum tyres penciled in, but internet searches generally only produced alluring hints of their existence

What size is that? Looks good (and big).

BMX are 7/8" which is smaller than the usual 25.4 / 1"
In the middle. Once you get to the lever clamp area, BMX and MTB bars are the same ⅞" (22.2mm) size.

Think my Woodrup is now pretty much finished now.. just added some 2010 Zonda wheels with decals removed.. Rest is all Centaur apart from rear mech which is Veloce (think that's the only thing that might change is foreseeable future..

Ineed, it's amazing how nice some modern wheels can look, when you remove the garish logos.

It's when you go the other way and have a case of pedal strike through a corner that you notice. Pedal strike is defiantly not in the mind.
As some chav cunt in a Saxo decided to drive into the back of me at a red light I went and bought an OTP as an interim runaround. I went with a 2010 Langster Steel (360@Cycle Surgery) size 56. The idiots only went and put 172.5 cranks on it. This years model has shorter ones. Don't get me wrong, at that price the Langster is a steal but I do wonder if anyone actually test rode it during the design stage on an actual road with corners.
I had pedal strike too and ran 170mm cranks, but this isn't what we were talking about.

Finally finished my Ribble track, or at least got to a position I'm happy with the build. Apart from slack chain... Just got round to replacing the bar tape I got with the bars with some fizik. Cheers to forum people for parts.
This was my first build, so I'm fairly pleased with it. Will upgrade the cranks when I get a chance (been saying that for ages, but the build has just moved slowly in stages) and the Chorus caliper is going on the Roberts, so will need to find another to replace that.

love that^ what is it?
chainring and saddle ruin it for me though...
-
• #48997
the chainring was a last minute addition as i found my other chainring had a massive flat spot or was bent. the chain went from being nice and tight at one spot to being so loose it might have come flying off. saddle is an old fizik arione i had lying around which is held together with electrical tape. frame is an 80s neil orrell. a work in progress....
