Oh are they tubs? didn't realise they did gatorskin tubs... I'd def be after clinchers with my tyre habit.
saddle wise I reckon a black rolls would suit it...

I just made me some leather bar ends for my current project.

I finished this today,
Feels great so far!
Will eventually swap the concor for a black flite, and I'm not sure I'm keeping the bars. -

Love those frames... what about a road classic shape drop bar, for comfort and looks...? or are you thinking more risers? for once, i'm not going to suggest porteurs!
Flite will suit it perfect.
Are the decals on the fork lacquered over?

Yea I was thinking road drops with dummy levers...
Not sure about the decals, I think so. -
• #49007
the decals would have to be sanded off, but they're fine, not too big or flashy. I really like it, apart from the bars.
-
• #49008
even without hoods I find taped road drops pretty comfortable, I guess depends on the particular bar and the individual... dummy hoods would look good though.

In the middle. Once you get to the lever clamp area, BMX and MTB bars are the same ⅞" (22.2mm) size.
Are you sure about this? Ive had a lots of bmx levers not fit on what I thought were normal MTB (not oversize) bars. Ive never bothered to measure.

Is MDCC tester wrong for the first time? It appears so.
Lever clamp area, not stem clamp area...

Pretty much complete now. I was going to pull my Superbe pedals and seat post of another bike to make the full group-set but it's fine like this for now

Just about finished my Cilo, apologies for the shite pic.
Cromor tubing, mostly 600ax group(hence blue toestraps which will be changed), just waiting for my wheelset for it.
Annoying have discovered theres a bit of brazing slag in one of the fork blades which buzzes while riding. To make it worse the blades are sealed at both ends so I can't squirt a bit of glue in to stop it moving...

Didn't realise you blog on 'whatcha think?', I've enjoyed following it for a short time. Hope the chin heals up alright. Ow, and the obligatorily cool bike dude.

new bars and rear brake back on. 2(3 if you're picky) brakes is such a treat -

Painful saddle angle

There's a good chance that replacing the bearings in your current one will rejuvenate it. If you haven't been jumping stairs, the cups are unlikely to be shagged.
Ok well I've tightened the headset and it's not feeling as free as it once was. It's still smooth but the steering feels a bit dampened. Can you over-tighten a headset for that to happen? Or would you say the bearings are just knackered? This question is open to the whole forum by the way so feel free to chime in, anyone. :)

are they still making frames?
i thought they'd gone out of business? -
• #49024
Not sure, I bought it second hand.

I realised it's plain gauge but £625 is pretty low for a ti frame.
cheers. wheel set is nice. just concerned about those tubs coming off on tight corners! not too sure what saddle to put on it to be honest...
