@ Superprecise...i remember your frame when it was purple; Diamant right?! I seem to remember trying to persuade you that red bits would look great on a purple frame. But alas, you were fixated (no pun intended) on a white frame, and i begrudgingly handed over the number for armourtex. Shame indeed, at least you've acknowledged your mistake ;P
farrrrk! that's right, yeah. so in fact one might say that you should take a portion of the blame? ;)
to be fair the purple paint was well shagged out and i did have my heart set on white

'hope doctors' are good - they have an expanding inner so fit perfectly if you've used a thicker leather
Should have thought about that, but i had already bought these. (and have a bar-end tt brake in the other end, installed using a peice of wood and a mini sledge hammer)
Plastic encaps with a poorly inkjet printed piece of paper, poorly cut out and glued on. Not one my of my best internet buys.

But 15 quid for bar ends...that's more pocket money than i get in a month!

Beautiful Itaian track bike - tell me more, tell me more - where did you find it, how much did it cost, what year is it, have you restored it and what parts are you to fit ???
tell me more, tell me more, was it love at first sight?

Yep tubs! wheels came with mercian track bike, new wheel set when i have more cash.
Yeah thinking of what colour for decals maybe red, or lime green.
I will check out the saddle!
here's an example of an older Chesini;
perhaps something like that? (the font that is, not the colour scheme).
the Concor saddle is this (can get in black, white, etc.);
suited your bike a lots more than the San Marco Rolls in my opinion.

Go for red decals on the Chesini, would look wicked!! Or World Champion striped decals coulbe be rather nifty!

Yeah something like the Gazelle would be quite nice on it I reckon, although the plain red lettering might be simpler and cleaner...

That Colnago is another fake.
It's no fake... got the clover leaf cut outs on the BB shell and lugs. I had it re-sprayed so the decals are replacements if that's why you think its a fake?

cant wait to see more pics of the colnago

Bought it off a guy in Italy who used it in the velodrome back in the early 80s, it had been sitting in his garage for 20 years.
Original paint job was knackered so had it re-sprayed Pearl White at Colourtech. The build will be pretty much all vintage parts Campag, Cinelli etc.. Hopefully it will be sunny this weekend and I can finish it off and take some pics.

£100 for Pearl White finish plus decals applied with clear coat on top. He also touched in the clover leaf cut out on the lugs in black. They were doing loads of frame for the cycle show last year so was very busy which meant he took quite a while to finish it off... 6 weeks in the end? I think normally they tell you 3 weeks turn around.
