Old dolan but now with novelty wheels! Looking forward to seeing how different it is on the track compared to how it has been so far this season with normal wheels.
needs Omniums, proper pedals and a real stem.

can't help but feel you'd get more use out of decent cranks than a tub disc, but whatevs :)
Nah, its a proven fact that carbon wheels make you go faster and look cooler

ScobleBike 99% there, needs pedals:
Nice. I love these.
What are the clearances like with 700c wheels? My shortlist of replacement CX-commuter frames is basically down to one. The Cotic X. Which looks to have all I need to upgrade the current commuter to discs. (Yes the Peregine is nicer, but well, its too nice)
I haz become carbon whore! next up is a carbon integrated stem/handlebar combo from china!
This will be very heavy.
....but will look very cool.

Hed discs are notoriously poor though. You'll go just as fast/faster on a well built set of spokeys with good hubs and fast tyres.

Zipp's on the other hand, make you at least 83% faster.
Fact. -

this is one of my singlespeeds. It's not finish yet... (problems with brake levers. Hope to solve it soon. Trying to set her with shimano 600 brake levers). For now i just want to ride her and see if she rides well. I think i will keep the 48t/15t but first i will have to take her for a long ride.
I also applied spd pedals because i have already shoes for it... i will try to "solve" that as soon as the € start to grow againsome of the components i used:
wheels: gipiemme tecno
headset: shimano 600
BB: shimano 600
stem: dura-ace 100mm
handlebar: cinelli
saddle: flite titanium -

Yea I heard that but for the price that EEI was asking for it I felt I couldn't say no!
My old track wheels I was using wasn't great, just standard miche pistard ones so the carbon is an improvement -

Beside the obvious, don't forget to install a back brake.

And a lever/bar combo which actually puts the levers near where your hands will be.
(who am I kidding? I've seen the trillions of dodgy singlespeeds out there, too late now)
kills self
Ahh i would love to but i cant really afford it at the moment! Student loan has gone on a 26" freestyle bike, a disc wheel, a hed 3, money I owed 6pt, money I owed my housemate and rent.
Not a huge amount left.....
