Just had some 60's Campag track wheels built. 40 hole rear and 32 hole front and then had them tied and soldered.
They look the built proof.

Old dolan but now with novelty wheels! Looking forward to seeing how different it is on the track compared to how it has been so far this season with normal wheels.

Changed the wheels to royce hubs laced to grey mavic open pros.
Not ridden it yet! Sure they will feel great.

^ Angle makes the rear wheel look smaller. I assure you its not! Will get some decent pictures once the bike is finished.

Yea i know i need new cranks as those ones are cack, just temporary tho. As for bars stem seat, yea i know its a bit messed up.
I need time to fine tweak everything as im still not feeling totally comfortable on the bike

Yea tt is slightly too long for me. The cranks are standard fsa ones. Am saving up for something special in the crank department i think!

lol no. Its 48-19 at the moment as i'm not really up for brakeless with anything bigger. Part of the reason why I went for the open pros was for the breaking surface. I will be getting some drilled forks and attaching a brake, thus allowing me to increase the gear ratio to something like 48-16.

48x16 = only 1 skid patch

I'm riding 48-15 down here in Brighton, and it's too big - too many hills, no brakes etc. For street riding I'd say a bit spinnier is preferable.

I think your ratio sounds fine, and going to 16 at the back gives you hardly any skid patches, either 17 or 15.
