They're pretty light actually, was talking to Max from TFG about why he chosen such crank for the carbon seta project he did (and he have a large selection of cranks), the main reason is that it's actually the lightest of all.
must've flex like a mother though.

Grabbed myself a Mercian Olympic for £35
send to Mercian for repair and respray but... I can't decide on a colour. Will be building it as a distance bike (modern campag, strong wheels and mudguards year-round).
Was thinking some sort of rich copper with chrome chainstay... thoughts?

going to build this into a single speed snoops bought it off Hilary Stone done some research on the internet and found it it's not made of awsome 531 when i received it this morning i suspected it not to be however the good news is it's made of Isiwata 017 which is what most NJS Kirien frames are made of,Sean yates also used to race on an emperior cycles built bike.
