Where you guys picking up the Truvativ Omnium Chainsets from? I haven't lost the ability to search, but seriously considering them and wondering if i'm overlooking an option or two. Definitely gots to be the Black ones. Cheers in advance.
Unfortunately mine came from SF me some time ago.
I think I saw black Omnium in Tokyo Fixed last time I was there, but the price wasn't very encouraging. -

Ah, OK. It seems like the States is the cheapest option. A few fairly priced ones over here, but seem to be struggling for them in black. TFG are never too encouraging price-wise, but then they do stock some nice gear. I will check them out though, cheers.
EDIT - yep, TFG do stock them (silver and black) just over 200 sods though!?! full retail price:(

Not quite in pristine condition, and not fixed/single speed... but I started riding this bike when I was 10 or 11 so it has a special place in my heart! My Dad originally assembled the bike based around the Raleigh Gran Tour frameset for my brother in about '83, just before the RAGBRAI ride (http://ragbrai.com/) that year. It's in the middle of being fixed up a bit, but my father had to move house so it's now in storage. Photo was taken with an iPhone, so it's not the greatest photo, but it's a very pretty bike :P

Yep, luckily not much traffic around at the time. Had to get to work on the bus with it in two parts.

Fuxxake
I have had my Trinity The Light Blue frame minus the forks for 6 weeks now - Winstanleys having problems getting ISON Distribution to replace the missing forks - the classic line 'The man who knows about it is on holiday' - finally come back home after a week working away and they have delivered the forks - picked them up from Parcel Farce depot this morning, rushed home to start building it - fuck my luck they've only sent me forks that have obviously been pre-cut for a smaller frame - either that or they've just sent me whatever they had lying around.....I actually said to Winstanleys when they advised me they were posting them out 'I bet you'll send me the wrong forks'......'No of course we won't' they said.....
I've now got to post them back...
So pissed off - do you think it's appropriate to ask Winstanleys for a gesture of goodwill for all the fucking about? - three phonecalls a week chasing them? Fucking expensive cloths stand/ornament

€170 shipped.
They had all the black ones in stock a little while ago. May be worth sending an e-mail to see when they'll be getting more.

Not as light as some recent offerings, or as pretty.
My credit card bleeds, but my feet are getting itchy.

I've just received some Dura Ace hubs from them, 32 hole ones aren't imported into the UK, and would definitely use them again.

Used Bike24 a few times, they exhibit the ruthless Teutonic efficiency you'd expect and want. -
