Some lovely things I've missing in here lately ... Regal's feather is just mad lovely! I had an idea I wanted bilaminates on my custom frame but let DY talk me out of it and went for very minimal fillet-brazing instead. And the regal - 853 logo is wicked! Nice work Mr Feather, really nice.
Cheers Skully! Did the graphics myself, Ricky's paint guy used a vinyl cut to mask it out of the main paint colour. I was worried it would be a bit fiddly but it worked out pretty well I think.
Trying to think if I met you at Easts once? I'll bring it along when it's built.

Just been having fun on this over the weekend.....
42x16 gearing, 105 Hubs on Open Pro's, Ultegra Cranks & Specialized Bar/Stem. Could Do with the stem being a little longer and some nicer quality brake pads, but apart from that I can't complain!

Just finished turning this:
into this:
was going to go brakeless to keep the rims looking nice, but put one on for emergencies, gone clipless for the first time too, so hopefully I won't have to use it too much anyway.
thanks to everyone that helped out! -

Nearly finished my Benotto restoration just need a new Nitto stem and seatpost. You haz Pearl 11-12 and 30cm S65? I haz dorrah!
No pic's till it's done i'm afraid. I prefer to blow my load rather than drop inconsistently.

they're silver, but in particular light conditions they look a bit golden, quite nice :)

my orrell.
just need some nicer wheels and maybe a new saddle. Those wheels dont look bad I think, personally I'd put a regal on it or something, that spoon looks out of place. Over all nice build up though.
And thanks for that extra info Ed, I'm going to have to knuckle down and sort all my stuff out for a sale.

Mr J, this is a great build! Glad to see the rims built up and looking every bit as good as I hoped. I'm jealous.....and remember if you decide to run a brake, i'll sort you out with the rims in order to keep those fresh ;) and dibs if you ever sell them, ha!

Went and picked up this Fred Dean today. Had been floating around on CTC forum for a bit, with collection only from Cornwall, nobody had taken it. As it was only a short drive away, i put in an offer and made it mine. Needs a lot of love, but the atlanta and Dura Ace 100mm stem, Giros, milremo saddle, campag post were a bonus. The cranks and paint job are horrendous, but the frame is solid and will do up a treat, might use it as a winter ride and slowly get some parts together for the spring along with a new paintjob....Tinker time, Ace!!

Rims look good. I'd change the chainring and the seatpost though, they're too hipstery.
this is lovely.
could you do me a favour though and move the cranks 'round so they fall midway between the chainring spokes?
(not a big deal, but something that always bugs me when I see it on TA chainsets.)
