just picked this up off the bay, it's going to be refurbished for my best mates xmas and birthday present, i'm trying to do it cheap, but i feel i may get carried away as it looks like it's in such good condition.
to come:
drop bars and levers
decent tyres
bar tape
saddle
pedals
(little stuff like cables and pads and such)I have some drops you can have. They were freebies, and I don't need them so yours for free if they look like what you need (you're in Stratford aren't you? - I'm in Leamington). Can't remember the spec of them other than they're older bar and silver alloy and I think 25.4 clamp. Possibly 38 - 40cm wide.
Let me know if they're of interest and I'll take some pics/measurements.

My Langster Steel is almost complete, just a Thompson seatpost is now required. Ultegra 6700 brakeset has been received, however I will be running it brakeless for now. Specialized Romin saddle really is excellent and am tempted to replace all my saddles with these, if it proves to hold its comfort on longer rides.

61cm frame, 60cm TT and for once I have a fixed bike that fits perfectly. Spent some time talking to different people regards bike fit and finally used a spreadsheet fit calculator over on the Weight Weenies forum; which has worked perfectly for my liking.

Cool. I'm on a 62cm IRO, it makes such a difference having a bike that fits well for the first time in my life! I rode the 54cm Gitane i used to have but sold on earlier, trying it out again was crazy, i can't believe i got up to any speed on it.
do you still have that neon fade bartape for sale? pm me if you do...

Been wanting to to paint my own frame for a while... but have wanted to do something a bit more technical, with graphics incorperated into the paint, rather than using vinyl under the lacquer. Havent really been able to decide on what to do, so after speaking to Big Daddy Wayne, i might paint my track frame for next season in Grupetto livery (sorry Winspar!)... still a bit undecided to be honest....
anywayz, did a quick test on some perspex tubing on my lunch break, i think it came out quite well.... the thick stripes would be on the seat tube though... not right next to the graphics. -

I don't know, I think that the thick strips look good there. Sort of like a reference to the classic styling when ppl use World Champ strips, but different. I esp like it just on one side.

How much was it? My parents live just outside chesterfield, and I will be looking for a decent frame renovator soon.
£270 for both seat stays replacing, un-sticking seatpost and stem and repainting/decals. Oh, and postage. Never got to go visit the shop, will have to head by next year some time.
