Looking forward to seeing that built up - supposed to be a pretty burly frame non?

  • My current project...

  • yer the frames made from the same steel as the bmxs
i imagine its gonna be burly
mines the 56 so its barspinnable with 700c on not my thing but to others its a good feature
just tryna decide on what components now

  • nice build VV, wanna see it at wests soon. like the bar set up, need a paul lever in white on there and a black chain :)

  • I like what you've done with old alfie!

Andy w: they're good frames, I rode that un for a while before I decided it was too small. Heaps of fun and ugly as me!

  • isn't it about time you finished building that nice Bob Jackson?

    ;-)

Its practicaly finished. Just need to buy and install a campy pista chainset (bloody credit crunch). I not in a big hurry though, its not exactly skinny tyre weather up here ;)

  • that colour scheme is christmas themed!

Now you've said it. Thats really going to do my nut in, come January.

I demand sir, that you write a letter to my mrs. Informing her that it is perfectly acceptable that I build a bike for every festive season.

    ;)

  • small furry the pic of the wheel is fabulous...

  • Cheers!
I shall +rep my 2 year old on your behalf ;)

    aaahhhhh :)

disclaimer - soppy dad myself, so I'm allowed. alright!

  • Bloody hell. Should have finished mine by now but I can't afford the last few bits. So here are some not very good photos of my 90% finished bike.

    [obligatory photo featuring cat]

  • Loving the Bob.

  • what rims are those tricity?

  • @tricity: Wow very nice indeed. Are those rims pink or violet?

  • Nice ride. I reckon some pink tape is in order though.

I disagree, you'll loose the brake lever highlight!

  • Finally finished my long overdue wheel build. 1960's Campagnolo Gran Sport hubs (rear is a flip flop) laced onto Open Pro CD rims. And before anyone says it, I prefer the sticker look.

Only downside is that I had to dish the rear wheel over by 4mm to get a 42mm chainline.

  • And I also finally finished my Peugeot conversion.

    Frame is Tomasito's old one.

  • Beater/pub/gig steed...ready for battle. Made up of bits from the old spares box.

  • you sure have some dandy bikes alex!

  • Cheers Gus! There may well be a couple more on the way....oops!
