the koga looks too small for the rider. stem is very long, very risen, and the seat is too high.
You may be right, but
a. he's not going to keep it
b. it's going to be equipped with TT bars, so it may be the perfect size. But I gree, in this setup it's ugly, but so is my Giant (and it rides well, isn't that all that counts?)
EDIT: I was typing when Tester made his reply. Seems that I was right (again ;-) )

I kinda thought track bikes had short headtubes, to allow ultradrop style set-ups, or nice aero bar positions for those enduro races.
Tester has already mentioned putting aero bars on.
So the above example would be the correct size frame.
Maybe. I know shite all about track outside of watching it on telly TBH. So whatever.

This has been sitting in the hall for a week now, think its about time I threw some bits on it. Wanna aim for an all american build, maybe some Easton carbon trickery depending on funds.

They only come in 53 (mine) 56 (what I'd have in a road bike, would need a flat 10cm stem for the track) **and 59 (big enough for lanky gits like Maxcrowe **and Crane)
Not a chance! To have it set up in that "my frame is too small!" modern style I'd need at least a 62cm.

Yippy!
Just "won" a 28 spoke track rear wheel, so now I can finish my son's track bike!
Now I have approx 2 years time to build the 26" rim around it and to finalize the bike. He's only 7 ;-)

You must be the only person who actually going to use this bike for time trial/track, all the koga I've seen were ridden by people wearing jean up and down the hipster spice route.
maybe if you actually went to the track.....you might see people riding them on the track.

But of course, I'd expect to see more variation of track bike, like the Koga, it's just strange to see some with riser in central london.

I swear the Koga's quite a popular frame for track racing.

Project wise, I've been thinking about stripping my Cannondale.
I probably won't though.

No.

Do they make a mash frameset in your size?

What you trying to say, Prav ;)

I guess even in NL there's 10x more Planet-X than Koga on the track.
Koga's so over-prized!
Next to that: Koga's are for seniors (said the 48 year old ;-) ) -

max, staff discount.

We aren't BLB!
Anyway, I think the biggest one they do is a 61cm or something.

I paid £500 for the Koga a few years ago when they were listed at £600. Now they're £900 it's hard to see what you're getting over the cheaper Chinese carbon frames.

You don't see many cause of the price. There are tonnes on the 6 day circuit though, because they are very comfy to ride, whilst still being stiff and strong (unique scandium alloy).
The paint job is worth £400 :-)
Although now my PX is sorted (fingers crossed) I will be selling my Koga frame, before even building it up I think.
Calling all trackies! 2009 56cm Koga FullPro Track, Brand new, still in the box.

Hi there, I am new. This is my first fixed gear a £10 Peugeot from the tip, it isn't finished yet but thought I would stick my first post in this section too.
Let me know what you think, cheers.
When I got it.
With 'temporary' saddle and bars.

why have yuo got risers on back to front, and upside down??
-
• #25274
What happenned to those bars and what are you trying to match those yellow tires to?..
EDIT: ah, beat me to it (re: risers)

• #25275
stem and bars where just put on becasue I had them in the garage, I don't know why they are like that, they just are, and they will be replaced when I get stuff through the post.
There is a really small yellow flash on the frame. honest.
Thanks for all the people pointing out how I'm being all modern and that with my set up, but the truth is slightly different. You'll see when I put the other bars on that it fits perfectly, and that's what I bough it for. Despite the slightly odd looks, it rides fine on the track with that 12cm stem, although I'd probably have bought the next size up if I'd actually bought it only for the track. They only come in 53 (mine) 56 (what I'd have in a road bike, would need a flat 10cm stem for the track) and 59 (big enough for lanky gits like Maxcrowe and Crane)
