  • I only have this one:

and they look pretty low profile from that angle

  • My new project. 1976 Colnago Super, full Super Record, Superleggera pedals, Campag clips and straps, panto'd seatpost, NOS Cinelli unicantor suede saddle, NOS Regina Oro record drilled chain, NOS Mavic Oro10 gold rims, Cinelli bars/stem, NOS Criterium Super Record tubs. Few tweaks to make then it's ready for the summer.

    A longer distance version.

Where do you keep finding all of these NOS bikes!? I want one :)

  • Got a wormhole in the garage

  • Chainring I rather like. How did you get the writing off the crank arms? Gave it a half-hearted scratch with my thumbnail to no avail.

    Acetone, innit?

Try some different nail varnish removers if you can't get any, they used to be chock full of the stuff.

  • Here you go Mattty, better picture:

  • @Em, thanks, still undecided. Any chance you want to sell me that stem?

  • I'm using that stem I'm afraid.
Still got the forks if you're feeling flush though.

  • Thanks, but no. I rather like the stock forks.

  • what you after for the forks Em?

might be interested.... whats the steerer length?

  • I'd go for black Open Pros though,

Open Pro CD, or even better Ceramic, would be more stealthy. The black ones have silver brake tracks.

You know they're an inch right?
Also come pick the fucking bindings up before I bin them.

  • yeah i know they're inch... thats why i wants 'em!

my boarding trip got cancelled...... so idon't need ze bindings anymore unfortunatley. can still come and get 'em if you're morraly against throwing them away though!

  • How do you inch steerer boys deal with stems? Shim them or can you get 1" OK?

  • Shimmy McShim Shim.

  • Went for a quick spin, though i would take some pictures of the steed.

Still need to take the stickers off the rims, also considering a new saddle (any suggestions?)

    What i've added so far:

    -Velocity Deep V wheel set
-MKS Pedals, Exus double straps, Velosolo double cages
    -Charge Spoon
    -Conti Ultra Sport 23c
    -Charge risers

    Cheers.

That's what I meant. Should have been more specific.

As I said the other day mate, this thing will look like a totally different beast with some new forks. Pref black.

    are those Nitto b123aa bars?

  • As I said the other day mate, this thing will look like a totally different beast with some new forks. Pref black.

Yeh, black straight blade would look pretty sweet as you said.
Been looking into it, haven't found much yet.

Think about it more seriously start of next month, when i have some money.

  • ^^ Cheers Fruit, can't take any credit for the build as I bought it like that but I think I'll be changing the 4 hole front mech for a normal black bodied one. Might also change the bars and get some gum hoods depending on how anal I'm feeling and whether I take it to L'Eroica. Oh and some yellow brake cables, the others don't fit through the cable guides hence the ugly cable ties.
