  • I profusely apologies for your visually adversity

    ; )

  • Kin' 'ell, give the guy a break, he knows them stirrups ain't right!

  • "stirrups" - Chortle chortle

  • Your avatar makes everything you say seem ultra sarcastic...

  • haha, you'll have to thank Cosmo Kramer for his mug :)

  • I love Kramer with all my heart.

  • Put on the SLR from Joe1983. Don't know how my rear will like it over the Flite yet.
    Sorry for the dark photo.

Now I love that I was not going to do any more projects but I must say that looks stonking.

  • Fuckin cool ain't it, Mr. Cutter

  • Here's my new beater!
After taking the bike to the magicians the pedal has been removed and the bike is complete. Just been off roading and i have fogotten how much fun fixed + mud is.

  • very nice bike jambon!

  • I came to terms with the fact the orange Holdsworth was miniscule and this is what I currently ride.

Used to have a half-link chain, then went back to a regular one and totally forgot about where you have to break it; consequently I am one link shorter than I feel I should be.

  • and then the condor now sporting black it looks stealthy and nice, just needs screwing together. (ignore the seat height)

That Moog's old condor? Will look good geared, I think...

    Nice stays/ends.

cheers mate, really like the seatbolt/stays

  • Yes it is...I may well have the matching 600 set that belongs with the cranks, I have some nice wheels to go on it too, though I really like the black wheels they offset the purple and the little black condor so well. I wanted a black miche headset of hilary to finish it off, as the current mirage is a bit long in the stack. I would need to lose 6mm of the forks for it to fit properly. I already have 2 geared bikes though....decisions
At the moment I just want it rolling so I can ride the frame and feel how it goes, The Joe Waugh is mental, it's so flicky/steerable and gathers speed at an amazing rate, I have scared myself on numerous occasions and crashed it once...and I haven't hit the tarmac in nearly 2 years. I have got to be careful.

  • Guys quick question can anyone point me in the direction of a fixie parts site? or does this not exist? Im looking for loads of bits, sorry massive noob

  • Carlton is nearly ready for final build up

  • Hey,

I did a bit of work on the LeJeune tandem from the previous page today..

Replaced the bars with aluminum dropbars, with Shimano SLX-brakelevers... They seem to work okay with the french center-pull brakes.

Tomorrow I'll try to persuade the girlfriend to take a ride with me somewhere, just to see what she thinks about riding a tandem.. :) if she likes it then I can justify getting some tandem specific hubs and building some strong wheels.

    and to quote.

thats lush...really neat, and a bike in baby blue that I actually like...

The answer is actually embedded in your post.

It is very nice build indeed.
    It only needs some Autosol.

  • The truth is you'd have been better off with full Rival on both bikes from the start. The performance difference is all but non-existent, and the weight difference is about as much as a modest sandwich.

yeah, you're right but the force came on the bike so there's no point down grading it and besides it looks nice so that equates to 40 watts at tempo and you know that's the truth............
